Only at higher speed. Probably around 30mph+

When it was the cover it was more of a constant that just made a louder noise as it got faster.

was it like it from new cos I'm getting the same when new it was perfect now it gets a lot of vibration when at higher speed and its only done about 250 miles and I'm putting out no where near the power of u guys it did come with firmware 3.4 so should be a later model

Yes, like that from new.
Make sure its properly attached and on a good surface. Try without the cover and if it still vibrates I'd send it back.

Looks like it's time to seriously look at starting up the Mountain Goats a Chain Gang again.

Who's in? I'm happy to set up a goat league if we can have some suggestions on which climbs you'd like to start off with. And we can start off some kind of temporary chain gang where we just pick a ride and as many of us as possible can join in and race. Then we can later hopefully turn it into a league when we see how it pans out.

Bill, I am definitely in. I will try to make as many rides as possible but not having a dedicated training space and having to turf the family out the living room and set bkool up makes things a bit awkward sometimes-or so I am told^_^. I have a builder coming round to quote for shoring up the floor in the loft space to take the weight of me and bike and turbo and to put a plug point in for the 'leccy. Blimey, writing that makes it sound like I am taking this pretty seriously:wacko:

I'm in, i still intend to winter ride but if the goat stages are open for a week that would be easily enough.

Alp D'heux, Ventoux, Stelvio d'aubisque, Glandon, Gavia...

I was also thinking of a league for doing the top 100 climbs in uk? i dont mind setting that one up but run it for all of winter and knock em off? thoughts?

It should be on Firmware 3.6 to be completely up to date so it may be like mine which was fixed to 3.4 and unable to update.

My first trainer had the fun noise even with the side cover off.

On the plus side my third trainer is perfect! ^_^

I'm well up for it. if you need a hand in admin I'll be glad to help out Bill.

I had faith that Rick would beat Corby. Who is that Scott who snuck up from behind though? I didn't notice him until the end.
I'm glad you had faith cause I was convinced Corby had me :bicycle:. Scott has always been a fair bit better than me but by the end the gap wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Bkool Facebook race tonight 6pm uk time. If anyone fancies.

Los Randeros (fmpando)
Didnt intend riding tonight after two stage yesterday but you've put the notion in my head - I'll give it a definite maybe.

Great idea! :okay: Just wary that we might have three different leagues on the go in the group and this would be similar to the Mountain goats ie. the only way is up! :heat: ^_^ Cracking idea though so I'd likely be up for it.

I have to say the Vuelta has been fab this year and not just because it's been such a great race. The mountain racing has been a real eye opener for me. I have cycled in the Picos many years ago but not the Sierra Nevada and so on. Many of the rides have looked quite beautiful and perfect goat territory!Perhaps we can include some of these?
