What is it with bKool??? Trying to get a ride in and their site is down and I can't log on. Seems like every time you try to use it something runs slow, drops out or can't connect - turns the 60 minute workout into a 90 minute hassle. [complaint over!]
Can't log-in here either!

I had this - seemed to be caused by their website being down. When I finally got in I road the 1st Mountain Goat challenge, saved and accepted as per usual then the system logged me off and showed the log on screen and user not recognised. Guess what - it lost my ride details!! Just checked the league and my ride would have had me 1 off the bottom ... by 4 seconds LOL - I'd have been happy with that.

Great race Bill .

It was fun to watch too. You got away from Juanjo and JonBon, but they worked well together behind you, until they hit the first hill, where JonBon got dumped. I saw it from Juanjo's point of view, and he pushed hard until he could almost touch you, but then he ran out of juice just before the top. You then crushed him on the descend.

Thanks Lars. It nearly killed me to be honest. By the end I was finished and I think I only held off Juanjo by using the Scovsgaard slingshot on that second last small hill that seemed to put me a minute ahead. Then he just didn't have quite enough time to pull me in. It was a lot tougher than I expected when I saw there were no green jerseys there.

Yes, good ride Bill. I didn't see the course gradients beforehand and thought the hills were going to be easy-ish but my legs went on the first big one and didn't see you or my 2up partner Juanjo again!

Whorty, if you put in a short dummy run up Dhuez from the Leagues tab (a minute or two would do) I'll approve it as the time you've stated above 1 hour 22 and 1 second. That'll save you doing it again and you'll be able to put all your effort into Ventoux ;)

Well done to you Jonbon. You really pushed me hard at the start.

So I did Alpe d'Huez a few days ago for the mountain goats league. I didn't note my exact time when I was done, but it was on the order of 55 minutes. I thought not bad at all, far better than I expected. But when I went to the website later, it had me at 1:23!?!

Figured that was awful strange, so I did it again this afternoon and noted 52:22 as my finish time. Head to the website and it's got me at 1:19 (main part, ignoring warm-up/cool-down).

So that's a big WTF. The 1:23 and 1:19 make more sense if I look at my average speed -- while there were stretches above 7.5mph, I certainly didn't keep my speed up that high for the duration of the ride. So there's no plausible way I could have actually done that ride in 52:22.

No clue what's going on, but it's awful annoying.

Has anybody mastered the Video route planner editor yet?

I'm trying to sync a .gpx file from the bkool app to a video filmed on a hedcam (so the ccamera doesnt have gps). The video route editor in bkool is testing my will to live...bkool support are not helpful....is it just me?
I managed to finally get a non gps video matched to a ride from the bkool iphone ride, but it wasn't good enough to be published. I think the date stamp was a problem. But looking at your blog please keep trying. They look like some great rides.

Ive found the time sometimes goes a bit mad, it seems to use the splits to re calibrate as you go along.

a 7.5 average is going to be over an hour as the course is 7.9 miles long.

Another thing it may be is your kickr, thats the only other difference i can see to anyone else. it could be that the bkool software needs to calculate post ride?

Im clutching at straws a bit but thats the only factors that are different that i can see
