Getting a little worried that my break unit will never update, so I'm now getting it swapped with a newer model. Hopefully the crazy cadence will be fixed.
Quite a few requests to join the Bkool Mountain Goats group.

Are you taking the micky outa my weightGetting a little worried that my break unit will never update, so I'm now getting it swapped with a newer model. Hopefully the crazy cadence will be fixed.
Btw, Dovers Hill is my favorite Top 100 Climbs UK so far. theboxers, I think you will find it quite enjoyable too.
Had mentioned this before to him but must push it again. I think the way the zwift team talk with its community and makes them feel part of it was the big appeal of it, yet it can't compare to the amount of routes and flexibility bkool has. We just get a trainer and have to make our own community!!Yeah, don't hide! We like to share our suffering here
There are some seriously impressive times being posted, quite intimidating but also something to aim for. One of Bkools's strengths is the ability to set up leagues with a breadth of ability and a strong community sprit. Good to know also how accurate the trainer can be but I share everyone's frustration with the software at times. It's unusual not to have a proper forum for feedback ala Trainer road or Zwift. Rick, perhaps you can suggest that to Chris if he responds to your message?
Keep us informed! Nice work!Have messaged Craig Harrison about these queries to see if Bkool plans on changing them in any way.![]()

Version 3.2 reads crazy high cadence. The latest 3.6 firmware tends to read too low! I've had both and ignore both!Crazy cadence? How? Have a feeling mine is too low.

Finally bloody bkool power sorted but catching Ryan i had no hope
26 min ride... 340w average.... amateur 4![]()
Hej LBHIFIHas anyone done any of the Goat stages in real life?
I did Alpe d'Huez in 1h2:30 and Sa Calobra in 43:30.
I would expect to do the Alpe a bit faster now, but no way I could get under 50 min. like I did in the MG league. Getting under an hour would be my goal.
A sub 30 minute ride will not be used to set your rating. You either need to do a full FTP test from the Fitness tab in your profile or do over 30 minutes in the main section of a session. Finally bloody bkool power sorted but catching Ryan i had no hope

Heads up all: I know there's been cadence problems with quite a few and I was speaking the Craig Harrison the USA rep form Bkool who has given the following info:
The cadence thing isn't usually hardware, BTW -- it was a firmware problem that is considerably better with the last update (v.3.6). If anyone with a black Pro trainer hasn't gotten a prompt to update their firmware in the past 2 months, they can check their firmware by going to settings in the simulator once it's paired to the trainer, scroll down to "About Bkool Indoor" and click on it. Under "ANT+ INFORMATION," it should show the trainer and a firmware version number. If it reads "0.0" just close and re-open "About Bkool Indoor" until it refreshes. If they have an older version, they should email info@bkool.com -- they can cc me at supportusa@bkool.com and I'll keep tabs on their response from here.
Unfortunately I'm on version 3.2 so mine isnt updating.![]()
