Can some kind person please accept my ride tonight? I changed my weight recently and the ride needs validating now! It's the Subida one. Cheers.
I have that with every ride I do for one reason or another. It can take a couple of days to get done so don't worry if it is not done tonight

That was brutal, Bill. Got a hilly ride tomorrow with a few race mates including one who got top 10 in both the national 10 and 25 TT's. Thought I'd do Subida Soller desde el sur at 18:30, with an easier half hour sitting on others wheels on a flat profile, but it wasn't to be with that parcours! Legs are aching. I'm gonna regret that one tomorrow!

You're right though. The new units or firmware seem tougher to maintain the watts. We should have kept our old units

Yes^_^. Unfortunately, it is probably more realistic now:cry:. I have some fresh real-life Canarian mountain rides to compare with. I averaged just under 300 watts during a 23 minute climb. Very similar to my "While climbing" watts in the "6giro" session.

It was a bit brutal wasn't it. Not at all as planned but now Rick is taking over the reigns so we can expect much more suitable rides in future. Unfortunately I doubt I'll be getting a rest in your slip stream anytime soon. I thought I'd be able to stay with you quick guys on the flat bits but you soon put me right about that the way you all flew past. I always get a good start but it doesn't seem to last very long these days. I'm just glad I don't have a ride I have to do tomorrow although I may try to take Whorty's third place off him, again^_^

Sorry I had to bail out guys, I've got the wrong gearing for that 'flat' course!

gutted I missed the race, reading the comments it sounded like a right ole battle. Good stuff.

Going out to try my trainer, bkool have dialled in and checked all the settings and re-loaded the simulator software - fingers crossed it gets sorted (back to 210Ilbs).

Yeah! yeah! I know! I'll never hear the end of this! TBH I nearly bailed out myself when I felt how hard it was, after all it was just a test and all went well. However I could see LB up front (where he usually is) and like a red rag to a bull this was just enough to keep me going. But as usual......:cycle:

I think it showed though that we might almost manage a mini Peleton on occasions. Before the hill kicked in there was about 5 of us all jostling around for position.

There were, don't feel too bad Bill it was all good. :heat: Whilst warming up I did a few Keirin rides. Highly recommended. Eight laps, six behind the derny getting faster then sprint when you want. About a minute rest then do it all over again....:bicycle:. If you haven't tried it yet give it a go. We should organise a session.

We certainly should!

I tried the sprint session where the last man across the line is eliminated and it was good fun also, but my bike isn't geared high enough and I spin out. I'm guessing there's no cheap option for changing that problem!
