Anyone else want to suggest their favourite hill climbs preferably between 5 and 10 miles long and between 5 and 15% gradient? Thanks.
I like to keep a high cadence (+90), but find it hard both in real world and Bkool, to maintain that when gradients exceed 7 %.
Here are some climbs where it is possible, both with video included:

Col du Telegraphe (http://www.bkool.com/profile/detail/133990?durationType=DISTANCE&lapCount=1)
Col d'Aspin (http://www.bkool.com/profile/detail/270822?durationType=DISTANCE&lapCount=1)

Well, Just completed Mont Ventoux - brutal. My garage floor was soaking with sweat - not a pretty sight!

Thanks Nutty. I like those rides but they are probably too long to suite the tastes of everyone in the group. I'd be concerned that some would avoid those and I'm trying to get as many completed as possible. If the rides were just to the peak they would probably be quite suitable.
Agreed. some of us struggle with 25k rides and end up doing 2 hours plus .... I think for us slow guys the very long rides would just be impractical.

That could be a good idea, wish I'd thought of that

The top 100 climbs is the one to join just to experiment. Plenty of variety there, from v. hard to really easy, spread over 60 stages  that you can do in any order.

I have currently attempted 15 of the sessions and completed 12. I keep coming back to have a go at the next 1 or 2 or sometimes 3 sessions :bicycle: I must be

Hi guys thanks for the positive input I've received so far
Theboxers I have sent a request through to top 100 but haven't been accepted yet it will be showing up as SBLowen with the same Bianchi avatar. I'm going to leave the chain gang as 7 at night is a really bad time for me for a number of reasons but thanks anyway for the invite

Ordinarily the ghosts of other participants dont appear, unless you challenge one of the previous attempts. If you do challenge I think the ride then appears in the scheduled tab.
Most people challenge me

Interestingly, I challenged a rider last night, who had challenged me previously. He must have been challenged by others, who had challenged others and so on. So, in the ride I did last night I not only had the person I challenged, I had 5 or 6 others riders, PLUS my original ghost. So I got to beat my own ghost LOL

Good to see another Bianchi owner in the mix.

You can do the chain gang rides anytime within the date range, they are just more fun on a Thursday, or the Saturday rerun.

Good improvement on that short ride Whorty.

Did Glandon again tonight. Felt way too easy, everyone's ghost was so far behind that they weren't motivation at all. Sadly this is because I forgot to remove the split at 8 miles. For reasons unknown this causes bkool to go out of sync and make the ride considerably shorter than it really is and give me some kind of adjusted time. So I came across the finish line at 1:23:50, which bkool then adjusted to 1:56:18. The adjusted time is probably reasonably close to what I would have gotten had I remembered to remove the splits. Looks like you'll take 2 of the stages from me Whorty.

If I can find the time, I'll do Ventoux again, else it'll have to be one of the shorter rides.
