Thoroughly enjoyed that one . Rick, you are just getting quicker and quicker all the time. And Alan, I kind of knew you were going to get past near the end. Sorry I couldn't give you a good race to the line, but I just had nothing left by then.:heat:
I'm alright as long as its flat!

Only a couple of minutes separate the top 5. 10 minutes difference between the top 10. All good! :highfive:

Stage still open til the end of the weekend. Next weeks is about 6k longer but similar sort of terrain.

There was a private little race at the back too. For most of the race Rob was 20-30 seconds in front of me and C J Bon was about the same behind. It was nip and tuck, a bit of lost time, a bit of gained time. I started to struggle with about 5km to go and knew I was not going to catch Rob. Didn't know how much C J Bon had left, but as he started to chase me down I knew I was done for. Really enjoyed the challenge even though I came predictably last. Thanks for setting this up

Hi all, I've just joined up after reading this thread. My Bkool arrived today and I've ordered a USB extension following advice on here.

I'm Tom Nicholson-Ihara on Bkool. Hopefully see some of you on there.

That's what so great about the Thursday races, whatever you speed, there is usually someone nearby.

Gutted I couldn't make it.

A few weeks ago I floated the idea of the "mountain moose" group... We're obviously larger and lumber along at a much slower pace than the goats....

No idea what's involved in setting that up, if it's not too difficult I could do it. I'm not sure the rides would be considerably easier, but the idea would be to get riders with similar abilities.

Super high cadence then.......
Yeah I'm very spinny. Average road cadences in the region of 90-100 over most ride types. 3 rides on trainer tonight I never dropped out of the 50 or too close to the 27 and all 78 79 80 averages
So is mine. Wind your neck in!:heat:
I may swap my turbo tyre onto my road bike that's currently running a 32/11 :laugh: I feel inadequate

You certainly nailed me tonight - I just couldn't chase you down. I must learn to pace myself better on a flatter course.
