No one actually knows to be honest. bkool randomly allows it to start at some time around the specified start time and even they don't actually know when.
Are there any alternatives? Someone at work was talking about having group conversations on WhatsApp. Any other ideas?

I was thinking the chat stays here but Facebook be used to create events. Membership can be controlled through admin. Not sure of alternatives.
I'm going to miss the ride tonight, my shoulder is player up again today.
Re social media / whatsapp etc.. I think Facebook would be better as you can moderate membership, can use messenger etc.. Whatsapp is good for a group of known people, it uses mobile numbers for registration, now we can all be trusted but new members would get to see all our mobile numbers etc.. Twitter is probably too open. Perhaps a cyclechat members only announcement thread for events to keep it all on here?

I guess just about everyone has a facebook account and I probably should get with the times. I have an account actually but just never used it.
..or we could have a thread in the Bkool and other trainers section specifically for people stating ride times etc... but if most people are already on bookface we should maybe just go with that.

Sorry about that tried to get in but the wireless in my garage decided to go slow and server kept me in warm up and when it reached zero it started all over again. I think the mac will have to be replaced with a windows laptop.
Also Bkool keeps asking to update the software when I know I am running the latest and have accepted it - cheesed off as I was looking forward to that tonight!

Just got home 2 min after the chaingang started racing. Well done RickB 
JonBon had a good crack at it but rick disappeared down the last big decent and into a 20 second lead that was never seriously threatened. Bill S tried to get back to the 2 rockets in front but just could not make it and came in 3rd to all who took part

Things were a little better with a conti gp4000 s tire though, but I was also at another PC, so I'll have to try the new tire at the usual pc tomorrow.
Also have an appointment with Bkool tomorrow, so maybe they can sort it out.

I also have the Conti GP 4000 700x28C - can't say it felt any different than the other front wheel tire on my bike ;-)
