Thanks. I think that is too little for my setup. I cannot get high wattage without higher incline. Nothing I can do do then, but make my own 30 minute session or change gear setup?

This is exactly the problem you get when there's too much friction between the tyre and the roller for whatever reason. FTP only works when the friction is low. It's usually down to tyre and tyre pressure.

Thanks Rick, no problem..
I did manage to find my way around the system and watched you all perform on the scheduled ride last night - very impressive, and well done. Looking forward to joining in the future but will be trailing in well behind, but you've got to give it a go after forking out for machine in the first place.
Look forward to having you in the leagues. :okay: No matter what your ability is there'll always be someone to chase! :bicycle:

Tyre pressure is 120. My theory is that my gearing is to "easy" and that I need higher incline to be able to get watt readings around 300. Does this sound plausible?

Irritating. Just created a 30 min session and did 302w, at 68kg. Should have bumped my fitness level from active 9 to Pro 1 or 2, looking at the w/kg chart, but no change at all. Just makes it annoying when putting in bots/ghosts as competition when my FTP has bumped drastically in the past month since getting back on the bike.

Got Bkool phoning me and remote connecting within the next hour to see if the speed is calibrated as everything else seems to be reading correctly.

I can maintain 300w + in the velodrome (for a while) on 52/11. Are you saying that you're spinning out your hardest gear on a 2%, but not able to get 300w?

It can take a couple of days for the uplift to come thru. I have had that happen to me.

Ah, perfect! I'll eagerly await the 'upgrade', especially given my avg HR for the last 15 minutes was 196bpm (max is 211bpm). I HATE isolated FTP tests, and usually do them over 20 mins, not 30! Don't mind deriving them from competitive events such as breakaways in races, or time trials, but they're an absolute slog on a turbo. As Greg LeMond put it; "It doesn't get easier, you just get faster".

So Bkool phoned me, remote connected to the PC, and said there's nothing wrong with my trainer. The calibration and pairing is spot on. He said that a wireless devices such as keyboards, mouses and phones can interfere, so to try a session without them nearby.

That is a high average HR. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking;)
