It's not about winning, it's about taking partI'm 2nd in the the Moose league.
Or last depending on how you look at it?
Any one up for a rerun of the Chaingang stage 2?
Saturday 5pm
All goats, mooses and any other creature that can ride a bike is welcome to compete. No long hills and the more that take part the more fun it is.
Tyre pressure is 120. My theory is that my gearing is to "easy" and that I need higher incline to be able to get watt readings around 300. Does this sound plausible?
Hi Spodnie
Sorry you didnt get a reply in your other thread. It seems most of us only get notifications when this thread is updated and miss the other ones.
What average watts would you do on a typical mountain climb? if it's not too rude can I ask what weight you are also?
It's certainly hard to hold the watts on the flat compared to climbing and depending on how tired I am, I would be top gear and spinning fast on any sort of decent (say -2% and under). I'm on a compact chainset for reference. The more weight you carry the easier you will spin out.
Even on the velodrome there will be stretches that I find myself in top gear for a few laps when trying to pull away or catch someone where gravity isn't factored in!

@scott1505 did you get a notification of being challenged by any chance?
I have installed el capitan to to my mac and reinstalled Bkool software and all appears to be running well. I hope to be in there after Thursdays lack of connection on my part.Any one up for a rerun of the Chaingang stage 2?

It had a lot of signal drops. I'll approve it momentarily.I was 6 seconds behind Paul in the 1st Moose ride tonight. Kev is leading Paul by 36 seconds. (My ride not showing in the league yet).
It's a flattish course but quite tiring none-the-less.
What's your bkool id? I see 10 members that have joined -- I haven't had to approve anyone, it seems to accept anyone (which is what I wanted anyway).I've just requested to join the moose league
