I'm dreadful at dithering over bikes. I've been looking for a new road bike for a while, I'm allowed to spend some cash on one from January, I have a few on the list. My only major thing is that it's shod with a campagnolo group set. This limits the choice but doesn't make the decision any easier. I quite fancy the Bianchi Infinito CV, but the de rosa super King looks nice, as does the Wilier Zero 7. I don't think I can stretch to a Colnago c60, but you never know.

This one is really just for the trainer...but still want something decent....I'm looking at a cervelo s3 for my next road bike but that will be at the end of next season when everything is a bit cheaper lol

How does the Col d'Aspin compare to Alpe d'Huez?

Much shorter! Over 10 minutes quicker doing it. Similar steepness I think. Maybe Aspin is steeper in places. - not sure.

I'd say Aspin is much easier. Alp D'Huez is constant steep gradient with no let ups and no chance to relax the muscles even for a second. There are one or two flat bits on Col du Aspin where you get the chance to get the blood back into your legs!
