As long as your trainer has the FE-C Update v2.04 I think it is...my classic works on zwift

Rick once updated just ensure you go into settings and manually pair your bkool turbo. Then come out and go into Zwift. Go into setting and pair the turbo and you are good to go.

I got bored very quickly with just riding the course... however I am starting to explore the workout side.
I've only ridden it the once but there is almost no climbing which I can see being an issue along with lack of variety. Riding with people and sprinting and racing up the short climb is fun. I will look at the workouts.
If you have strava premium and sign up for the free trial and then link your account you get 2 free months of Zwift which should be long enough to see if it's worth having

The last few times i did a Bkool english race, it was started by someone with "BKool" in his name (don't recall the exact name). He/she drops out after the race starts and leave the pain and suffering for others ^_^

LB, I started chasing you up one of the short Top 100 climbs tonight (one of the colmbs) but as you steadily pulled away from me it became apparent that if I were to give it a go and race your ghost for the win, I'd collapse at the end (only a couple of minutes away) and not be able to do the hour or so on the bkool that I had planned. Upon realising this I bailed out and went off to look for easier pickings.
To be honest, it wasn't looking good for me even if I did stay for the duration. I needed Mega Watts! :cycle:

Fortunately for me I happened across another Top100 climb that was very up and down. And Ryan used to have the absolute record for it.:giggle:
After that there was a much more steady uphill Top100 for half an hour or so :heat:. Ryan still holds the record for that

Problem with comparing bkool trainers with other smart trainers on the bkool sim, a friend has a Tacx vortex has beaten me on a ride with 70 watts less than me and he's a similar weight as me but would say weaker than me on the road.

I can see a day that the only way to compete together would be to ensure everybody is using the same trainer

Never tried doing the advanced search (probably because I don't know how ) but i just keep clicking on the rides until I see you or Rick :okay:

Click on Filter in BSIM, then there's an arrow like this > at the bottom right on my screen. Click on that and it opens up a box to input a search word. Best to use the name of the person starting the ride. Works every time. If it doesn't bring up a ride it's usually because it hasn't been started yet.

Yes, above 11% I get unrealistic speeds. Now that I'm admin in the UK 100, I'm not even shure I should approve my own rides .
On the other hand, I'm being punished on flats. BKool calibrated my Pro yesterday, and things got a lot better. Still about 30-40 watt short on totally flat sections, but already at 1% it starts to get better.

It's like Bkool randomly awards various super powers: I got the Supersteep-climb-ability, which makes me fly by real mountain goats like Ryan, on extreme gradients, some has "the-slingshot" wich enable riders to carry speed over a small sized mountain (well, a good sized hill at least).

The Richmond course is pretty boring ..the island is far more interesting and can be done in reverse...the 30 min workout "Johns workout" is good @Monte

 I think you're right there about the superpowers. I definitely seem to have the slingshot one. And tonight I think I learned to use it better by looking at the blue speed numbers.

Hi LB , as you are Admin from the top 100 , i have a time on rosedale chimany that needs to be edited ( i did not complete it ) . If it is not possible to edit it might be a idea for everyone to do a dummy run And give everyone the Same time on rosedale . Because it gives me over 1 hour advantage in the top 100 . And i am sure u Or Bill deserve to be at the top of the leauge ...
