I finished first two moose rides last night but there still not showing on the leader board am I doing something wrong
There's a way to see why a ride isn't automatically approved -- go into the league & find the stage. There should be a "My attempts" box, click on it and it'll give you more details.

Most of the time it's trainer drop-outs, cadence or HR issues. Which I just waive through the next time I'm online. Next moose league I'll probably just drop those verification checks.

Anyway, I waived through a bunch of attempts a few minutes ago. The only one I didn't was a likely aborted attempt at Little Cottonwood.

The Supersteep-climb-ability may be partly due to resistance and weight, as light weights (I presume Ryan is one) will not demand as much resistance from the trainer for the same gradient as a heavier rider. So as gradient increases, at a certain gradient, it will max out and cease getting harder for the heavier rider but continue to increase resistance for the lighter rider. Effectively you are still riding up a, say, 12% incline while they have to ride up a, say, 16% incline.

I would say that super steep climbs are not realistic simulations at all, and obviously the same is true for downhills, due to difficulty simulating gravity and wind resistance at high speeds. This is almost certainly one reason that the FTP test is done on a moderate 2% incline.

This is what I have found. The resistance on my classic reaches its max at about 6-7% for me and my mammoth bulk (down to 132kg atm). When I played with my weight, taken down to 100kg, the max resistance seemed to move up a bit to 8%. I've seen it written somewhere that 12% for 80kg is max resistance iirc.

After I get to max with my setup the speed stays fairly realistic 5mph on bkool is 5mph on the garmin edge I have, this has been the case since the firmware update. It is consistant for me atm and I am looking good on the performance side all things considered :bicycle:^_^

I am out of tonight's race:sad::sad: Mrs B needs laptop for urgent work. Will try and watch using the iPad. Can I do that without being connected to the trainer?

You can watch from the iPad without the turbo connected, enjoy your cup of tea while your relaxing, and throw the odd motivational comment at the leaders, anything to try and distract them ;)

Dont worry lads - still feeling the effects of yesterdays squash session! Only second week at it and still hitting some unknown muscles hard! :surrender:

A Mario Kart Bkool Edition would be cracker! Firing mushrooms at those in front to spin them off the road or getting invincibility power-ups. :hyper:

Numbers building nicely for the race.

Should be a good one!

No password so a few non cyclechat people in, but it'll add to the fun!

Great race everyone. Bit jealous. Guy is a machine, power and rpm! Bill not too far behind. Hope messages showed but I was kicked out 3 times.

Wow...dont know about anyone else but that was the toughest race I've ever had :heat: - and the closest finish. Neck and neck with Jonbon - I had all but given up on catching him but the gap closed up enough to tempt me. :bicycle: Hammer down as much as I could for the finish and I think there was less than a second between us. Had nothing left in the tank!

Great going guys!

Was watching some of teh others guys finishing there - Great battler with ciaran and Kev at the finish. Ciaran came past three guys and looked to have it only for Kev to fight back and gain a few seconds of a gap, with Kev pushing him right to the line. :bravo: :boxing:
