Yes, I was "treated" for ITBS about 5 years ago, brought about by too much football in my youth but so painful with any impact activity especially running and walking downhill. The physio in the hospital, that I saw for about 6 months actually recommended cycling to strengthen the knee, with no impact and take pressure off the ITB. I was given a dynaband type thing to stretch the knee and also strengthen the muscles all around it but couldn't be *rsed! My fault. I still have major issues with my knee but hardly ever when I'm cycling thankfully. Get a specialist to have a look and don't do what I did, ie. Ignore their advice. Hope it gets better soon Bob.
Paul that's very encouraging! I shall see you all tomorrow night:bicycle:

I will be doing my first chain gang tomorrow, not 100% sure what to do as the rides I have done in league or groups I have done in my own time, is there a what to do what not to do post or rules available ?

Don't think there is any way to do this!

Part of Bkools inability to delete anything, once a league session is accepted it can't be altered!

The only way to compensate would be to ensure a future session needed validation for some reason, and then get the admin to add the extra seconds to that session.

In reality, not worth the effort. As you say, it is doubtful that the 0.4 miles could account for the difference, more likely that you just had a little less energy the second run?

Cheers,

Geoff
That wouldn't be enough -- leagues accept the best of a user's attempts.

I wouldn't worry about it much. It's all for fun anyway.

Do you have a bunch of other rides in the league tab? I've recently found that if you get too many league rides scheduled, some simply won't appear in the simulator tab, even though they show up on the web site under scheduled sessions.
Exactly the same as I found tonight.

Steve, all you need to do is find the ride in the Live tab. It must be the live tab and not the Leagues tab. I or Rick will be starting it from the Leagues tab so it will be a league ride. You can use the advanced search function to find the ride and look for bill or rick or part of the name of the ride. It's not always easy to find a ride in the Live tab if there are many rides going on at the time.

Just had a go at Zwift to see if I would be having the same Speed issues as I'm having with Bkool. As expected, speeds in Zwift almost as accurate as real life. I also found the climbs much "easier" to go over, felt more natural.

I'm disappointed because I really wanted Bkool to be my winter training tool and be part of all the leagues you guys have, but with such inaccurate speeds, it's pointless to even try to compete in leagues. I still think Bkool have the superior product, just lack implementation!

Tacx trainers work better with zwift, I borrowed a friends Neo trainer and compared both trainers on both software. The conclusion I have come too that bkool trainers are very accurate with the bkool software, very realistic and now I only bench mark my times with other bkool users. When I used the bkool trainer on zwift I found riding on the flat to be fairly accurate but on the climbs my garmin would be reading 10-12mph and zwift would be displaying my speeds at 3-4mph and other people were passing me like I was stopped - I am slow up a climb but not slow...

Chaingang Race tonight 7pm

Course: Tin Can Ten Time Trial

Stage details: http://www.bkool.com/classification/showIndividualStageClassification/4554
10 Mile time trial (2 x 5 mile laps)

Warm-up begins at 7pm for 10 minutes - look for it under the 'Live' tab between 7 and 7:10pm - if you cant see it use the advanced search at the bottom of the screen and search for 'Bill'. Do not start the session from the League tab - you must join it from the Live tab if you want to race against each other.

Cant see many tactics being used on this one (apart from the Chris Hoy approach of 'put the power down and hope no-one can stay with you')

Maybe someone can help please.
Using my Bkool pro on Zwift workout.
I've done the FTP test and its set correctly in Zwift but when I start the workout the power reading I am putting out is very erratic and I cannot match the stated power of the workout.
i.e. it says reduce power to, for example, 210w but my power will not reduce below say 250w.
What am I doing wrong as I should be able to match.
Any help greatly appreciated
