3 And 4 Sounds Good to me we are expecting Snow next week so i will not Be able to get many Outdoor rides in ..:hyper::training:

Ryan, after my blow out on Boxing Day doing the Prueba Sacra-Cu stage (BSim crashed on me not far from the foot of the final climb when I was at about 1 hour and 4 minutes into the session and on target to beat your time) I decided to hedge my bets and challenge you so I could manage my effort better as on Boxing Day I was almost glad that BSim crashed as I was boll*cksed.

As usual I set off too quick and was feeling the burn quite early and a couple of Minnie Lapdog Bots were gaining on me.
I was not sure if you were with them so I dug in to stay away but it was hurting too much so I backed off.
To my joy when they caught me you were not with them so I decided to hitch a lift and draft the group of 6 or do Lapdog Bots.
However they were moving a bit too quick for me and I had to back off. As I did one of them backed off with me so took a tow all the way to the top of the first climb and saved quite a bit of errort in doing so.
Once I got to the first descent I was able to outride my 'guide Lapdog' and chase the four that were now strung out in front of me as varying gaps with the leader about a minute ahead.
I assume these Lapdogs were based on your weight so I was able to out descend all of them and every time I passed one I got a slingshot from the draft.
As a result I was able to go into the second climb alot fresher than the last time and I was kind of hoping I would be caught again by the Lapdog's but alas I was not but thier chase drove me on as the front Lapdog was always closing on the climb.
The rest is history and as a result of the help I got from your Bots I finished in a time quicker that the time it took me to almost get to the bottom of final climb before.
Can't quite beleive the final result myself!!!!!!!

That is pretty impressive:notworthy: . Awesome really. Faster than I can achieve on the flat!

Do you ride on Zwift? Be interested to see what time you can put into a lap of the Richmond circuit.

Like I said, could hardly believe it myself particularly seeing how far I got (or didn't get) in the same time before. I actualy felt the Lapdog Bots were helping me and the ones that went of ahead did so as they knew I would descend faster but some of them certainly climbed faster than me. I lost 1:30 plus to one on the first climb, entered the second over two minutes ahead of the first Bot and crested only 27 seconds ahead.

I want to do Zwift but my Classic won't update to the latest firware because of a PCB fault, or so the online help geru told me.
Note that my average includes some rather fast descending, sometimes over 110kph which goes a long way to knocking up the total average.

Without the help of the Bots 2 days ago at 1:04:44 I was still 3.3km from the finish and blowing real hard then BSim crashed.
3.3km (nearly all climbing) at an avarage 20kph would have taken another 10 minutes or so and hence my time would have been a about 1:15 which is a little more realistic.

I was able to do regular short 22 min tens and sub 57 min 25's when I was 17 before Tri-bars and the like so I have always had the engine for the sustained effort.
In those days Alf Engers was one of the few, if not only, UK TT riders posting sub 20 min tens.

Still not showing http://www.bkool.com/classification/showIndividualStageClassification/3897 after the ride i did yesterday.
And this one http://www.bkool.com/classification/showIndividualStageClassification/4556 hasn't adjusted my time, could someone look into it please, very frustrating :cursing:
Looks like the time was updated, but Bealach-Na-Ba is still missing. If it's not there by tomorrow, then just do a short dummy ride (a minute or so). Do it as a league attempt. Afterwards I will just adjust the time to 39:19.

Any preferences in what kind of rides I pick for the mountain goats for January?
Choices are:
1/ Less than an hour steep climb all the way.
2/ Less than an hour but some downhill.
3/ Well over an hour steep climb all the way.
4/ Well over an hour but with some downhill & flat.

If you pick 3/ there will be some seriously badass climbs.

Well, I have two Gran Canaria sessions I did this autumn:

Degollada de las Yeguas
A relatively short climb from Maspalomas to the first viewpoint towards Fataga.
http://www.bkool.com/profile/detail/956354?durationType=DISTANCE&lapCount=1
23 minutes sharp (and very close to 300 watt) in real life.

Maspalomas - Fataga
The same as above, but after the viewpoint there's a little downhill section before continuing to the small mountain village Fataga.

53 minutes sharp in real life.

That is very impressive :notworthy:. You must have been regarded as somewhat of a wonderkid.
We have a wonderkid like that in the race series in which I participate. He won the male U17 olympic time trial this summer with an avg. speed of 28.63 mph, but of course this was using top tt equipment.
I think your speed would have been close, if you've had this same equipment at your disposal.

I have never done speeds like that before, but I'm slowly getting there. This year I broke the 41 kph limit (25.48 mph) - still need about 1 kph to qualify to the world championships, which is my goal for next season.

Where can I find Bkools Manual ?

There's a few things I need to discover how to do...

I can't find out how to calibrate my trainer. I've just swapped bikes on the trainer and there's a rather alarming difference between the my power outputs with my road bike to the mountain bike (with slick tyres).
Most noticeably on the mountain bike when the gradient goes downhill my power output also plummets alarmingly. Trying to maintain over 100watts downhill is near impossible.

I've set up a few sessions and selected a few ghosts and bots, but when I start cycling along to the videos I can't see anyone. Are they all just so far in front I can't see them or do I need to turn them on in some way or switch to the 3D view?

I would like to try a cyclechat ride (race) but I can't find them. Do I need to schedule them somehow or do I need to log on a certain date and time? Does it matter if I'm slow, i'm presuming nobody has to sit and wait for me to finish?

Quick question, Bkool Premium, do I need this to upload and ride my own video routes, or can I do this with the free subscription?

Not sure about your other issues to be honest ....
Re: chaingang races. You need to join the cyclechat chaingang group first and then it show up under scheduled rides. Search for CycleChat on bkool website and you should find all the associated groups.

Usually myself or bill starts the ride at 7pm Thursday or 5pm Saturday and then you join it during the warm up under the live rides. Don't worry about pace as once we finish we can leave regardless of where anyone else is. All ability levels are welcome as we all had to start somewhere. :okay:

That explains it grrr thanks LBHIFI I'll do a couple of minutes ride later, will from now on do them directly from the proper league.
Well, I meant that the UK 100 league contains two identical "Bealach-Na-Ba" stages, so you didn't do anything wrong. You just rode Bealach-Na-Ba #2, and looked for your result in Bealach-Na-Ba #1.
