Moose,

I'm still up at the vacation house until Monday. When I return home, I'll post the final results and slog through the half dozen or so rides for the next league.

Figure it'll take a week of daily rides to verify each is good to go. Most will probably be climbs near me that bkool has turned into 3d rides.

The gopro has arrived, so expect some videos once the weather is cooperative (May-ish for any big climbs, I don't climb in my ski clothes anymore)

Thanks Rick.

Do Strava Virtual Rides count towards the Strava challenges?
If u Upload it automatic direkt from Bkool as a vr ride they do not count .. If u Transfer it as a gpx file it will Show on Strava as a normal ride And will count towards challenges .But if it has any kom,s there is a Chance it will get flagged ,Or Even complantes from over riders ..

Strava added the virtual ride feature due to the amount of virtual rides being done. Saves so much grief with a road KOM/QOM is taken by a paincaver on a turbo, but also great business sense.

2 months free zwift for being a strava premium user, cheers

Does anyone know how to create a loop and import it to bkool to ride without it automatically going on to strava as a ride.

Would I need to unsync strava before uploading?

I create a gpx file in bikehike and import it to bkool but what then happens is it shows on strava as a ride and usually takes a load of koms so I have to delete it then.

How can I join the new 2016 league?

When I go to the league tab at the moment I get three rides all entitled "Tramo 50km...", I'm presuming this is last years?

For the cyclechat mountain goats and the Top 100 it just says
Your request has been processed, although I don't seem to be a member?

I'm listed as JonM on Bkool.

Thank you

Hi Jon. Just checked the goats there and you should be in now.

No new chaingang league yet as the old one isn't quite finished. Final hurrah will be at 5pm today for the leg which you are currently seeing on your listings.

Have you considered doing the video's in advance in the car? Bkool recommend that they are best recorded using a car, or even better a motorbike, as on a bicycle they can be a little wobbly, as the handlebars move about as you ride.

I fixed my Garmin Virb to the front grill of my car (high up to get it near a cyclists eye level) and it produced much better videos than when on my bike.

The main problem is driving at roughly the same speed as you would cycle, as it can mean you get some reactions from other drivers, especially on long slow climbs! This is why a motorbike is even better, as you can get out of the way easier.

If you drive it too fast, it can look artificial when slowed to the kind of speed you would ride it on Bkool.

Chaingang rerun at 5pm

Final chance to impr9ve your position in the Chaingang 2015!

Look out for Tramo 50km Bujalance-Cordoba on the Live tab just after 5pm.

Any difficulties finding it just search using the advanced tab for 'Rickb'.

That just sounds far too professional Geoff, the sort of thing those flashy goats would do and not at all in keeping with the wheezy moose ethos

It is amazing Randy. And what's great about the league is that whilst we all vary hugely in experience and fitness there's always a race to be had with others of similar ability. And again, the margins are not that different. I think it would be great if the league outcomes could be broken down by age/fitness level/weight/trainer. Somehow I can see AAAC, Bill, LB and others near the top of whatever category!:notworthy:
Will be watching at least tomorrow though I am so sick of the you have been challenged emails re Chapel Fell I am determined to put a stop to many more by putting in a good time tomorrow morning:boxing:

Indeed! I think we have two resident females - Jellybaby and of course dearest GailB.

Kudos to Gail for doing the 50km today in 1:50! :hugs: No kudos for me as I just bailed there now. Felt a twinge in the knee a couple of times and as I wasn't really battling for postions I caved in and quit.
