I hear you One-legged too, it was hard to get a rythm going, nearly flew over the handlebars when I wasn't paying attention and hit a gradient. As for the cycling through the scenery, welcome to BKool, the world of the lack lustre computer programmer.

That hill at the end was a bit rude too!

Well **** me, that was really ******* hard, nearly ******* killed me!!!!! Randy???? Wtf have you been doing since I've been away?? I have one word for you...CHEAT! And as for you AAAC, obviously some kind of computer hacker!

Bert you pushed me the whole way, I would have cruised that if you hadn't been snapping at my heels. Forgot just how much fun these live sessions were. Thankyou guys, but unfortunately I was so entertained, you are stuck with me for a while now... or certainly until I get injured.
honestly mate that was all I had!!:heat:

Right I have a confession to make, forgive me Cyclechat folk, for I have sinned, so desperate was I to make this session, I have abandoned a little old lady, whose utility room I am renovating, with no water at all, poor Mrs. Miggins is probably gasping for a cup of tea...I'm sure even she must realise it doesn't take an hour to fetch a hammer from 1 mile down the road....and she is now probably wondering why I need 2! I had better shoot back there, sweaty as hell, and get her water reconnected!

AAAC, can't believe I'm only one minute behind. I don't think I utilized the on/off technique, other than sprinting on any descend to reach max speed there.
I noticed a few times that your speed dropped instantly when going from a -% to a +%, but not always it seemed (wasn't that one of the things that was supposed to be fixed?).

Randy Roller.
How can a 'flat' road have so many hills in it?
I found that one really hard. My fitness level isn't the best so I really struggle if I can't get into a rhythm

There were also sections where image on the screen didn't seem to match the gradient . Or I found myself pedalling through the scenery.
I tried to film this but it was rejected.I will try again. But with only 14 miles of roads on the island d you can see why the Bkool is the best thing for a road bike in Sitka. If you looked to the left at mile 6 you could have seen the standing bear my wife photographed that I use as my Bkool avatar.

Add,
I just haven't stopped riding. You will be back in front in no time. If I remember you were active 10 before.

New to this site, it looks like people are using the trainers right now... I received the upgrade to 2.54 of the indoor app but am now unable to download and launch scheduled sessions. Log in, select scheduled, it is there but appears to time out and I get disconnected. I installed the indoor trainer app on a second machine that never had the product installed before (so a clean install) and same result. Same result logging in and waiting for the display of live sessions. Any advice other than emailing Bkool, as they respond Monday-Friday.... thanks!

I forgot to mention - both machines are Windows. Upgrade was on a Win7 machine, fresh install was on a Win10 machine.
Is the green indicator at the bottom of the screen showing the trainer is connected?

Yes, trainer is connected.

Symptoms:
Observe "Loading..." at "Live" or "Scheduled" panels. I am correctly identified by the app as far as fitness level, accumulated points, the particular scheduled session.
After an interval of perhaps 15 seconds, receive User disconnected from server popup, connection to Bkool has been lost reason and get logged out.

Also behaves like this if I select Settings after getting logged in.

Well the commitment has obviously paid dividends, you are on fire. I naively challenged one of your ghosts last week, and chuckling like a comic book villain I gave it my all all on the start line, only to see you scoot over the horizon, you left me for dead! I have a lot to do, but relish the challenge.

LIVING THE DREAM
Damn AAAC, whish I had that kind of power. Well done

That was not all my power, most of the spikes were the BKool superpower that is demonstrated by my 'up down up down sessions. When the slope goes down and then up I get some real high transient power that I don't even need to pedal to get.
If I power out of the descent into the climb the transient peak goes higher and last longer and in some cases, if the incline is quite short, 200m to 300m, I can get up it on super power. Trouble is if it then goes down the power drops right off and you have to get back onto the power again.

In summary because of the nature of this course I was doing my equivalent of your on/off method on all of those nasty little rises, kind of interval training then micro resting on the descents before putting power on just before the next climb started.
As a result I had quite a bit left in the tank for that final wall so I was 'sprinting' for the last 500 meters.

If Jocab or yourself had have been there I may have gone harder still.

So as much as folk hated this course it suits the firmware I am stuck with 100%

It's a network issue. I installed the application on my Android phone, got the same failure. So not a Windows issue. Next step - turn off wifi on the phone, use the carrier's 4G LTE network. Bingo - sessions come up, I can load the scheduled and it begins.

jeez - I cant believe you guys just put 3 & 4 minutes into my last nights sitka ride. I rode my lungs out and was 95% MHR for most of my ride. I got an email notifying me that LBHIFI had done a great ride, then the chaingang results came on.....there must be a knack with the on/off efforts some of you talk about....I just rode like a loony for the whole thing trying to keep the power on above 300w. Lagging on some of the steep drags though. Well done guys..see you thursday maybe.
