I don't think so.
A live range is no go from the firing point to the safe distance, which is often a few miles out to sea Military or Civilian
A Tank in transit does not indicate a live range, perhapsjust a training area.

Lol, it obviously won't be live when we cycle through it. It is the Epynt, and it is a live firing range, but you aren't allowed anywhere near it when it is in use by the military. It is 1000's of acres, we're not talking about a big field here.

I did a club sportive type ride a couple of years ago based around the Elan Valley - I struggled up some of the climbs in 34 x 27.....did the Hardknot pass that same winter on another charity sportive type ride...being 85kg its not much fun....good luck to the guys that do these monster rides. Not really my idea of fun but then again any cyclists view of fun is a bit skewed.

I went over to Belgium in April this year with some of the other lads in the club to see the E3, do the Gent Wevelgem cyclo & then watch the pro Gent Wevelgem - remember that epic....did 250k in some of the shitiest weather and wind off the North Sea. Man ..

I do need to buy myself a new HRM band though as that is the indicator of effort to me.
If, for example, you were to stuff me doing 250 watts but your HR was maxed out it tells me you were doing your upmost and that suits me fine Sir!
But apparently your not allowed to do that on Zwift.

Me as well...wish I could justify a power meter. Lots of reasons for your HR to be all over the shop...ultimately power is power but not the same for HR. Would be good to have on board power....stages or like it...to compare the accuracy of Bkools estimates.

Lots of reasons for your HR to be all over the shop

Wait untill they put me on beta blockers and I will be pulling 500 watts at a 130 bpm.

One of the funniest things that has ever happened to me in a Gymn was when I was on re-hab for my heart op and I was doing steps next to an old maid on a hand bike.
I was wearing an HRM band and watch and her hand bike picked up my heart rate.
She was about 70 and on beta blockers and me 50 and not.
Next thing we know she was calling the physio over because she was doing 170 plus bpm.

Me too, I've looked longingly at the Garmin Vector pedals for a while now. I know I don't need them, I'm no where near good enough to warrant them, I don't train correctly to use them.....but I just want them. However, my wife would likely divorce me, and I'd be back in that caravan!
