I'm only Active 9 because I'm female-would be active 4 if male and I'm quite light so total watts are disappointing compared to watts/kg-can I keep my handicap please!!

Yes, I thought your handicap looked about right!

I have to be careful what I say, otherwise Adam will claim he "identifies" as female and can he have an earlier Start Time!

I must of missed that one.

If Adski wants 7 then I want 10.

You ended up about 40 seconds slower than Adam on the last (longer stage) so I would think starting about 30 seconds before on this one would be about correct. How do you feel about 6:30 for the first stage?

Geoff can u look at my handicap time for Tin Can Ten Time Trial as the time from the chaingang was using the on off method before we figured it was screwing with the times now my riding style is more stable

Yes Rob, yours is one that looks like too late a start. What do you think about something like 4:00 as a first estimate?

Geoff, isn't AAAC a little too close to the rest of us? I think he could still win this one.

I think he has a chance to win, the same as everyone else. If no-one improves their time then you would expect the faster boys to just win, but some of you will improve, and the real fast guys will find it hard to go much faster. If he does win he will almost certainly deserve to!

His best time is 1:06 faster than yours, and you start 1:00 before him, so I guess you need to shave 6 seconds to beat him...

I stupidly did this ride 3 times to push my time down to an absolute minimum so I'm now far too close to AAAC for comfort. I could have tried to slingshot my way out of trouble with all those steep up/downs but now he can do the same, so I can expect him to pass through me sometime in the first half of the race:eek:.
I'll take my punishment though :cycle:

OK, I've used your performances in the previous Handicaps to refine things a bit and hopefully these are looking better.

Happy to tweak further if significant changes are needed, but we may well have to get a first run done to get a better idea of where they should be for this particular route.

We need to sort out a Start Time for Wayne and Monte, if either of you are able to get involved this month, and anyone else who wants to join the group and get stuck in!

NOTE: These are for next Tuesday, not for tonight (Thursday 11th Feb 2016), which is a Chain Gang league session, everyone start during 7PM warm-up as usual!

Wait on the line for me mate, and we'll duke it out!
I'm tempted but to be honest I want to see as little of your jersey as possible.

I'll try and jump on your tail when you come by and try this drafting lark though. with my eys closed.

Athough this is for next Tuesday (is that right - I'm getting confused now).
Tonights ride we all start together. Are you rideing tonight?

Bill, didn't you do it once at least to beat my time?!?
That will be teaching ya:tongue:

So tonights ride is Baldo and the password is "chase" is that correct?

There's not usually a password for the standard league rides - just for the handicaps. Just find the ride in the "LIVE" tab after 7pm and join in the warm up which will run for the full 10 minutes. As Rick mentioned earlier, make sure he is in the ride so you know you have the right one (it quite often happens that someone mistakenly starts the ride themselves from the "LEAGUE" tab so you need to ensure you're in the right one). Rick suggested searching for "Rick" in the live tab to find it - but I have sometimes found this not to work, so if you need to search by the name of the ride, when you find it just make sure Rickb is there as above.

Start looking as soon as it's 7pm and you at least have 10 minutes to find it if you have any problems!
