.
Sorry Geoff no numbers for you.
Some interesting stuff. As a newbie I ultimately think it's a bit of a shame these glitches seem to exist. I tend to agree with Alfie in that a bought my turbo to improve my fitness and that's my primary aim. I do understand what it is to compete though, and I understand people using the software in a way to maximises their times in a league / competition situation. Often competing is about finding small edges and that's obv different to training.
I have the say, I genuinely do find the technical discussions really interesting, but at the end of the day for me the league and handicap rides are just great fun - and an even greater workout - and I am really grateful for the work you guys put in to making them happen and all those who compete. Whatever glitches there may be, it's a hell of a lot better than doing a turbo session staring at a blank wall! (Or not riding at all!)
Fairly consistent, but for some reason @RickB got about 20% faster.
I'm sure it would be good for fitness but doing a whole ride/race like this would not help your overall speed on the road - the opposite - which I think is the point
I just love the social side of the BKool. I'm happy to ride as I would normally, the whole boiiing, springy, on/off, up/down, twangy stuff is not my bag. If it was the difference between 1st and 2nd, I would probably feel compelled to try it. But I quite like my position in the table, there are some behind for me to try and fight off, and some ahead to aspire to.
That said, Kipster OBVIOUSLY cheats, because I just challenged him, and he humiliated me, with my 7 year old watching over my shoulder. One day Kipster, or maybe in the Goats.....
Try riding a short circuit criterium. Constanly powering out of corners getting up to speed, off power into the corner, power out of corner and so it go on.
Get stuck at the back and it can be worse as you are a lnog piece of elastic.
Thanks. You where very fast, so I thought I would loose this session to you, but in the end I managed to keep you behindDamn, Jacob just sneaked in the back door and pushed me down from the league top. Great effort there Jacob
.
No offence taken, just pointing out that in the real world of racing there is a place where the race is like one big interval session and its not a place where mountain goats survive well more the bigger stronger riders.But...ride however you like! (hope I'm not coming across like I have a major chip on my shoulder about this because I really don't!)
Thanks. You where very fast, so I thought I would loose this session to you, but in the end I managed to keep you behind
