So close at the front, who actually crossed the line first? Since my recording refused to restart I was too busy trying to get it going again to see if Gail was pipped on the line. When it's that close it can depend so much on how many seconds late you enter the race.

Was 8 seconds slower than last time, but it felt harder, much harder. Hung onto some of the fast guys for a few seconds, even passed one only to be destroyed in the next climb

Turbo tommy and I had the same start time and set off almost together, but within a few seconds bkool said I was nearly a minute down, bloody blue speed numbers  I wasn't able to pull back the lost time

Just couldn't keep up Bill. Chapeau.:sweat:xx(

Actually, if I could have stayed behind you two I would have. It took so much out of me to catch you that by the time I did, the only way to stay with you was to slingshot the hills. When I first caught you then fell way back that was me so knackered I nearly gave up. If I'd tried to draft you I'd have been left on the hills. Bit of a catch22 as I really need to start with you to stay with you if that makes any sense, then I can perhaps give up my un-gentlemanly slingshots.

Thanks Geoff for tonight's race had a few issues at the start of the race due to being totally inept at anything IT related might have jumped my start time and seemed to be the only one riding the course on my computer, no one to race or draft so just pedalled it out. Maybe there is a box that requires a tick in somewhere?

LIVING THE DREAM
Whilst you were all sweating and groaning in your garages I was sat in a very nice Indian restaurant chomping my way through a Akhbari lamb. I feel no sympathy for you.

I was sitting on the couch with a plate of bacon, burger, chips, egg and mushrooms.

Good race! I just didn't catch Adski at the finish.
Any ideas why I didn't get the option to select No when joining the race? I did last time but not this time or the first. It is not a big problem but causes a frantic scrabble to get reloaded before starting. Maybe it is caused by an internet freeze.

Can someone post profile details please, I tend to enter the ride a little blind of the details(unless someone has ridden it before and I can see their ride) for some reason I don't have a search feature on the left side, I am running chrome browser. Has anyone had this problem, bkool told me to use another browser. It did work initially then suddenly stopped, maybe an update corrupted something.

Our times always seem to be quite close I've noticed andy

Like you I felt like I was struggling tonight. Which is weird as I actually improved on my last run by 30 seconds which I guess was the difference.

People started going past me one at a time... I started swearing at the laptop.... The missus came down to tell me I was disturbing her quality time with the TV (holby city I believe). I could see you in my rear view mirror so to speak and was running out of gas but I just didn't want you to catch me!

This BKOOL malarkey is bloody addictive!
