I didn't know there was a special type skewer for the BKool Pro?, i just bought a skewer off ebay for £2.50 to put on the Mr's bike for exactly the same reason @Goldwolfie

Mrs GW's bike wobbles on my Classic 2 , so I compared the skewer with the one shown on the Bkool store, and there is a difference. I tried my skewer on her bike and it was a lot more stable,, so I have ordered the proper one tobeon the safe side.

Not sure about the Pro, but it does look different to the Classic

It's taking all my will power and a mouthful of chicken and prawn in plum sauce, to not protest.
See we said your handicap was too low

Thanks Geoff for tonight's race had a few issues at the start of the race due to being totally inept at anything IT related might have jumped my start time and seemed to be the only one riding the course on my computer, no one to race or draft so just pedalled it out. Maybe there is a box that requires a tick in somewhere?

Did you make sure you weren't in Solo Mode, and are you a Premium member?

If not then you would end up riding solo, and that would explain why you didn't get the option to click No at the start.

Have you looked through the instructions here Chain Gang Handicap Race
and watched the video here https://www.dropbox.com/s/gjmbx89e1lktk5h/Bkool Indoor 03_02_16 16_30_24.mp4?dl=0

I could see your bike wobbling on the recording every time I switched to you. Either that, or your Internet connection was awful!

It was a great race. I had some technical difficulties and I think I was about a minute late getting off the line and couldn't get into my big ring. It seemed like Insomnia or Goldwolfe was trying to get a draft going, but we never were able to stay in position. Tried to rest more on the downhills and hit it harder on the short climbs. Traded places with Insomina a few times, but

Thanks again for setting this up Geoff!

just looked at the next chain ride!!
what the hell is that at 18.5k:eek:

I rode the route the other day, and I can confirm it is a wall! Goes from virtually flat to 10% instantly if I remember correctly!

It is beautiful scenery when you do the climb in video mode though - but you won't even get to enjoy that during the race!
I always like to find a course which has a twist in it. Or in this case a leg breaker.:stop:
Sure it'll give you something else to complain about rather than your unfair handicaps

Great race tonight guys. Enjoyed watching it. Really must get in on the action soon but always seems to suit Gail better. :girl:.

..... And thanks again to Jedi Geoff for organising it.

Sounds like it was a good race guys, unfortunately I suffered watching my team get bashed by Barcelona..........the race would have hurt less! :B)

Sounds like wenger stuck to his guns and put out a team to win the match.

I might be wrong but I think you just need a chunky skewer. I'd be surprised if there's much difference between the one supplies with the classic and the pro.

Me too

Can someone post profile details please, I tend to enter the ride a little blind of the details(unless someone has ridden it before and I can see their ride) for some reason I don't have a search feature on the left side, I am running chrome browser. Has anyone had this problem, bkool told me to use another browser. It did work initially then suddenly stopped, maybe an update corrupted something.

John18 and Bobinski, I will tweak your Handicaps up as you were both quite a bit slower than predicted and this was your first Handicap result (previous result was from chaingang a month or two ago.)

Nahh, leave mine Geoff. Standing start and disconnects meant I slowed down on first lap so over 13 mins. I had no one to see and chase but decided to speed up and 2 mins faster on 2nd lap so I suspect my time is a good minute slower than I should achieve. Or at least I would hope to get under 24 min. And Randy will be waiting with waffles next time too^_^
Edit
Just seen how close me an bridgy were. Would have been great to be able to see him and try and chase him down^_^

I think it will make for a really interesting race - virtually pan flat until that big steep hill at the end so definitely ideal for drafting but not much else tactically I think!

That 'wall' will be the only place I can make up some good places.....love it!
