I've realised the down side of riding out in the real world (apart from the freezing cold wind :cold:) - my bike was covered in cr@p and I had to clean it today! Outrageous - you don't get that on a virtual ride!

It's a good time. I sat looking at the screen for a few minutes, weighing up the merits of challenging you right back. But sadly have just returned from my 9 year old sons pool party, and the Jaffa cakes, sausage rolls and jammy dodgers are sitting quite heavy.
But I have you in my sights Mr. Bobski, look out!

Darn. I still haven't got the hang of the software. I leave it to you techs! Can you add the ride? It's a decent time with very little drafting all on my lonesome  I set it up with 6 ghosts and 6 bots. The bot s were active 2 or 3 but I never saw them. I should have set up more ghosts. I seemed to get a draft off Rick but to be honest my plan was to stay away from him for as long as possible. Tricky, coz I had no time other t Han usual 10 mins to warm up so had to keep within myself for 1st 20 mins. Rick had over a minute by then so I wound it up to catch and then drafted a bit to recover before pulling away. But yes, drafting does seem possible with ghosts. BUT, it's nowhere near as much fun as riding with humans. Still, if I am right about drafting then yes, options to set up and take advantage depending on how good you are on the ride.

Bob, you'd need to do a short dummy ride.

I should start keeping track of all the time I waste googling the Brit terms.... Jaffa cake ... Jammy dodgers..., hard graft... I'm supposed to be sanding but in reality I'm drinking coffee and checking the cycle chat every time someone posts

Don't do it Bill, you'll only cock it up and make him first. Best just leave that run out! :okay:

I feel your pain Randy, my work rate has plummeted since returning to Cyclechat, as has my cell phone battery life.

The diet of champions :training:
I was once going to a conference with a very attractive young medical registrar and I said to her that we would stop on the way for "a breakfast of champions". She looked rather concerned as apparently James Hunt considered this something very different to the "Olympic breakfast" I had meant to offer her from Little Chef (and yes I really am that classy).
