I have just googled aquathlon and that looks far too much like hard work to me, not only are there bears and wolves to deal with on the running bit but there are piranha and crocodiles to get you in the water. No thank you very much I will stick to the garage and risk being savaged by earwigs and potentially big scary mice.Whoooa dont get him googling sweaty thongs.... I am already competing against baywatch babes for his attention.
Gail - you dont really go in the garage do you?? Brrrr
Had an aquathlon today so no biking for me but I will try some of your old rides soon, promise, i will, honest...
Just to clarify the rubber stain doesnt particularly worry me from a cleaning point of view it is more the worry that half the tyre is missing if we do take the bikes on an actual, real life, could fall off and hurt road.
That'll have been deleted by admin almost immediately, as is normal to avoid partial rides from being accidentally approved.
Bob. I mean the CC admin. What we try to avoid is having a list of rides which need approving, some of which may be complete and some of which are not. When there's no rides on the list to be approved we know we've done our job so we tend to delete any unfinished rides fairly pronto unless we're looking out for a dummy ride from someone. I'll be looking out for your one tonight and hoping it makes it before the stage closes.Bill,
Do you mean cyclechat admins or bkool? Only reason I ask is I often use other bkool rides for warm up only part completing and wouldn't want my mileage figures adversely affected.
Ok, will do it tonight.

Thanks as ever for arranging this Geoff, really surprised how much I look forward to it.The next Handicap Chase is "Tin Can Ten Time Trial" at 8pm (plus Start Time) Tomorrow night, Tuesday 1st March 2016.
Please try not to sit on the Start Line (unless your Start Time is 0:00), rather enter the session pedaling when the time underway reaches your Start Time.
Time Underway can be seen so long as you do not enter the session via the Details button, rather click on the padlock image in the center of the session window!
Instructions are here Chain Gang Handicap Race
Start Times are here Chain Gang Handicap Race
If anyone else wants to take part, please can you let us know a competitive time for the stage, or failing that your fitness level and anyone whom you usually finish close to. Then we can agree a Start Time.
Geoff
Sorry to hinder your plan. I think the part where I catch someone might spoil it!Thanks as ever for arranging this Geoff, really surprised how much I look forward to it.
@bert1971 we are setting off together so I have a plan. You pedal like the clappers and tow me on to the back of @Benh and then retire, spent, like a horse from the pony express, then @Benh can tow me up to @PaulF and so on and so on. This makes perfect sense to me, I see no flaw in this plan so I think we can all agree this is what is going to happen can't we?
Excellent.
Two bad apples don't spoil the whole bunch. Just Get another Pro.Anyone on here using the wahoo kickr snap trainer ??? be really interested in any feedback. I would like to buy it's older brother but can't justify the extra expense at the moment.
See, i'm missing the Thursday nights chain ganging.

That is a downside to this forum. Bike envy. That looks like the perfect touring bike. The geometry seems ideal for long comfortable days. And I really like the looks.View attachment 120402
Randy, yes got my new Genesis Equilibrium - it's a great bike.
I hear you on the bkool pro, not sure what to do but I do miss the training.
