My warm up this evening involves encouraging 30kg of Labrador into the car to go to the vet to get his jabs. He knows where he is going so will magically become about 80kg of Labrador who is totally unable to jump into the car. By the time I get back I will be sweaty, stressed and covered in dog slobber but on the plus side my heart rate will be raised so definitely ready for the ride.

Is your Labrador planning a stay in my caravan?

I put my shoes on. The action of bending over makes me feel light headed and a bit giddy, I then fill my water bottle, check the clock, realise I'm running late, hop on and go for it.
This works ok for me, but might not suit everyone. I appreciate it would benefit from a little fine tuning.
Already nervous about tonight's handicap, never mind that beast looming on Thursday.

Running late?!? Don't you normally start the ride early?;) While the rest of us are still warming up:tongue:

This evening, I will be warming up with a cup of tea, leaisurely logging into bkool to watch the handicap race, I wouldn't want to strain anything, chuckling away as you all try and beat each other, knowing full well that you'll all be collapsed in a soggy heap by the end.

Secretly I'll be absolutely gutted that I am unable to take part, but a few weeks is not to bad and I will be back. For now i'm just finding it difficult to cut down on the amount of food I eat, I dont really want to put on weight as well as lose fitness.

After a few emails and screen shots, I get this acknowledgement :okay:

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your message. Seems like there is a bug related to the Kickr's acceleration constants. Our software/web developers are working on it, we hope it will be fixed soon.

See you at Bkool,

Bkool Team.

My Labrador plans very little he is a free spirit happy to roam from one dead badger to roll in to the next.

If he were to stay in the caravan you would probably need more than a steam cleaner to remove traces of his existence.

I, on the other hand, am being hounded by one of my nursing colleagues who is insistent that I need a HepB booster which will allow me to touch all manner of unpleasant things. We are working together this afternoon and I fear even strong protests about being involved in a race this evening will not prevent her from gleefully stabbing me.

This message performs 2 tasks, one clearing me for caravan access and secondly getting in a rather subtle but wholly justified handicap excuse that I will already be tired from having been sat on by a team of nurses to hold me down to cause me pain. (reading this back I realise that this doesn't sound such a hardship but believe me they are not such angels of mercy when it comes to my treatment)
