Bob, you had a time to put in so no one was expecting you to hang around drafting with us. I wasn't going to better than Thursday and I could still feel it in my legs so happy to try something a little different for a change.

It looked like it was fun.
Respect to you fast guys and AAAC in particular. Staying out in front is hard. Tempted to slow down and join in. I can understand why he does so sometimes. I am pretty sure I prefer to chase. Mind you if someone had been with me to draft with then I think there is a good minute or more to come off my time. I may have to challenge AAAC's ghost:ohmy:^_^

@Breedon not sure if you were playing me but by eck that hurt!

Lol i wasn't honest i was with bill helping me to get to the front then soon as i hit the first 5% climb my legs said fk that and i hit a large wall, @Benh was 1 second behind me till i recovered and started to pull a way and i started to chase you down, near the end on the final climb i was about 6 seconds away when my chain dropped from the big ring and away you went.

I didn't think it would hurt as much the second time round but it hurt even more , going to add that course to my favourites.

You had 366 watts climbing??!! That's almost enough to cover my 200 pounds on the gravity side of the hills.

Ha!

It's a bit deceptive. I didn't have much in my legs today so I didn't have much choice but to try to push hard into the hills. If they were any longer I would of been in trouble. At one point I virtually stopped I think. I didn't realise you could check such statistics randy.

Re drafting things look promising for the next Chaingang. I will available for the rerun on the 2nd April. I tried a few miles of the next session, 27mph is quite tough to maintain solely, 25mph more comfortable, but still need concentration. I think 27mph is possible with 5+ riders drafting for 30 sec intervals.(Do ghosts allow drafting?) Even if it only lasts for half the distance a good average could be gotten. I might try the full session tomorrow, If I can be enthusiastic in the morning.

I could be tempted to try a drafting session tomorrow, but it would have to be in the morning. Anyone fancy an earlyish drafting practise tomorrow, on the next Chaingang course?

Could really have done with a few to draft with tonight as was a very lonely painful ride tonight but strangely enjoyed it.

Wow...very kind of @AAAC 76C who dragged me round for many miles on that ride. All the time he was either just in front providing draft or waiting for me to catch him again. Thanks!

Pleasure Sir.
It was hard work making up the 8 plus minutes due to my late start. I was still completing my set up when I set off e.g putting on HRM, which decided not to work, gloves, wrist support, elbow support, turning on music and sorting out headphones.
I rode today to try and loosen up my legs and it pretty much worked. I was walking around like a zombie yesterday and today!
