I have today surprised Mrs Soarerv8 by offering to take her and the little Soarerv8's to visit an Abbey. They are quite surprised by my unusual burst of culture. What they don't know is that the Abbey at Stavelot is the home of the museum attached to the Spa Francochamps circuit with lots of exciting old racing cars in it.

The only Abbey I might be persuaded to visit, which is not too far away from Spa Francorchamps, would be Abbaye Notre-Dame de Leffe as a homage to a certain tipple of the same name (although now brewed elsewhere, at the Stella Artois brewery at Leuven, both brands being part of the Anheuser-Busch range).

Can I possibly justify a glass or two as a high carb 'energy' drink?

Are you in the market for a new bike insomnia? Looks smart. Seems like people are investing in it but I'd be hesitant to buy a frame I didn't know much about though. Looks a lot like a bit of a knock off of the canyon aeroad which has lots of good reviews and you can build up to your own spec. I'd prefer the aeroad to be honest. Choice of wheels etc as opposed to their own brand which I don't know about. The in built computer thing sounds good but could be a gimmick and littered with bugs. Garmin can be clunky but at least they're an established company and if you want di2 you can use it in conjunction with garmin / strava already.

That has been rumoured for almost 2 years now and still no signs of it coming to fruition.

Interesting concept, if it actually makes it to market.

You guys should be looking at good solid heavy bicycles with no gears so you have little chance of the chain coming off.
