@Goldwolfie thanks for the tow :bicycle::bicycle:. You helped take 16 minutes off of a previous best on that course  . I think I owe you a . You kicked my ass on the hill just before the last hill :B). Just before the top my legs went :headshake:. I could not gain back the 30 seconds or so you had and at the final hill I was :surrender:.

Now some supper I think :mrpig:.

The Pc didn't crash but bkool was ever so slow at logging in. As I joined the session I saw 6 riders waiting, but once it logged in fully, I was all on my own until the last minute where Lars and AAAC appeared. I didn't the see you at all Monte and thought I did the whole session on my own. Bkool again! Good ride, I beat a previous attempt by nearly a minute

Even bigger well done... we were taking it turns drafting on the flat & downhill sections but I didn't have anything in my legs to push on the climbs, you dropped me on the last downhill section and the last climb. As already mentioned I nearly bailed but I felt guilty that we were drafting each other and if I bailed it would of been out of order of me to work with you like we did and then bail. Well at least it made me stay until the end of the ride. #onetoomanybkoolsessions

Hi all
I have recently purchased BKool pro, as I need to get fit again, its also the first time I have been on my bike for about 20 years, so having to start with the easy rides
:hello:
:welcome:

I'm sure you'll soon be trying out less easy rides, there are a couple of leagues you can join. There are a range of abilities and lots of knowledge about the quirks of Bkool, so if there is anything you want to know someone on here will probably be able to assist.

That really is a pity because you might have been able to join the drafting at the front if you got a good start. AAAC is really quite accommodating and allows us slower guys to sit on his tail. He's a little less understanding when it comes to the hill at the end though.
Yeah that would have been really good - although you guys usually drop me from the start and I never get the chance to hang on for a tow! Definitely not a good idea to give you a head start!

Darn it, was hoping to make this one, but got saddled with parenty responsibilities......why do kids need to be exercised and fed?
No offence Adam but I was really glad you weren't there tonight battling with me at the end as there's a really nasty little kick up in gradient in the last couple of miles which would have been horrible to be racing someone in! This was all going through my mind as I slogged up the last hill!

Once or twice I thought bkool was making errors in gradient resistance, that would of been you Monte, ghostly drafting :okay:
If you'd known @CXRAndy couldn't see you @Monte you could have got away without taking your turns on the front

Thoroughly enjoyed that tonight Bill/Lars.
Not sure that my HRM was telling the truth the whole time because when I started today it was reading 48 bpm which I wish was my standing HR let alone already pedalling a bike HR.
At some points I was looking at my HR and thinking if that's correct I need a new set of lungs because they were going like the clappers.
I have also learnt my lesson of not letting you two get too far ahead going downhill and have realised that a burst of big cadence effort can give you a real thrust but I suppose that's on/off (naughty me).
Once again I was getting some unrealistic Watt over swings, a bit like a Pro Sling, at times when I wasn't expecting it. My 'start sling' felt like it was never going to end and all of this appears to have knocked up my average watts a bit.
I expect a bit of that is that I spent a bit more time on the front but that could be my imagination.
If either of you are going to have a go again on Saturday we need to knock another 1:30 of our time to best Graham Ash's Male Vet 2 and GBR record but I guess Lars does not see the GBR record..

Not at all Paul. Lars, AAAC and myself went up that last hill together saying "you first... No after you.... C'mon lets cross the finish line together...:hugs:)
