Sorry folks, just not feeling the Bkool love today. Been doing some really crappy work, with lathe and plaster dust everywhere. Sore throat, banging headache and just not feeling the need to suffer anymore this evening.
I am hoping to get caught up with my Chaingang sessions by the end of the weekend but have a ton of other stuff to get done too.
Need to get time in the saddle really too, got stuff coming up that I need to be prepared for....
It's just not the same without you in the races mate (literally!) - hope work settles down and you feel up to a live race soon

Funny, we seem to have switched watt/speed ratio, Bill. Lately I have been going faster with fewer watts. It used to be the other way around.

Did a bit of drafting with some non league interlopers. Also the first time with tri bars on, made a massive difference to the collarbone in a good way, though not to the speed I could maintain.

Also by way of a little competition, the bkool velodrome now has a Strava segment, the KOM is at 10 seconds, I'm down in 7th on 14 seconds, lets see if we can fill the leaderboard :-)

Great ride tonight, even tried a bit of drafting with @Goldwolfie and @John18. We were all nice and close at the end.

Speaking of the end, going through the finish post, turning back and doing it again was a bit confusing. I thought I'd dropped my timing chip and had to go back for it?
I need every second I can save and being fooled into stop pedaling loses seconds I can't afford

Enjoyed the group ride tonight - first one for a while. Went like hell for leather at the start but didn't really mange to hang onto anyone for very long to draft despite my best efforts. Still, onwards and upwards and all that. ^_^:bicycle:

I was trying to catch @Goldwolfie for a draft was about 8 seconds behind when I got booted :cursing:. By the time I got back I was about 5 minutes down and could not pull it back, even with a 1/2 mile jump start .

Ok not sure what caused it, bsim or pc, but it crashed on me after about 1/2 a mile :cursing::banghead::cursing::banghead:. Can one of the mods add some minutes to my time, I jumped in at about 1/4 of a mile on my second attempt I think, then approve the time please .

How many seconds do you think would be right TB?

I've noticed that too LB. I think the flat sections are making me ride more constant.
Looks like your best power spike was at the end. That was where I was making the least, having all but given up by then.

Yep I enjoyed that one but I couldn't quite keep up with you two. I kept dropping back and it took it out of me catching up.
@John18 went passed me in the last 200 yards and I had absolutely nowt left.
Well done to all
