Team Green, I'm so sorry...I lost my broadband connection and had to reset both the router and the extender. I'm guessing I've messed up our times.

i am gutted, and my poor family had to put up with my shouting in the garage.

Dont worry at all my mess up far outweighed that

Must be catching. I messed up the start and ending up starting 10 seconds late. By the time I'd caught you up I was already puffing.

Sorry boxers, I was going to see if I could tow you up, but I was afraid the rest of the team would ultimately be out of reach... In retrospect I could have waited a bit longer to see if you could jump in the slipstream as I was able to catch up without too much trouble.

Just couldn't ever get into a good position with the rest of the team though -- we just kept bouncing back and forth out of the draft. I was feeling strong through the middle of the ride, but the tank ran empty over the last half mile or so and everyone zipped by.

I wonder if we'd do better drafting in zwift where the slope changes are more subtle.

Actually @bobinski - to be fair, Bill and LBHIFI were flying on that course - dragged me to a time 3 minutes quicker than my previous best so you didn't need to be feeling under par at all to drop back a bit - don't know how I hung on myself but it did hurt!!

I hope that Pico Penas proves to be ideal for drafting, as that one was again up and down a lot.

Still Adam, Tommy and Andy showed it could be done, and Bill, Lars and Bridgy also, I think, as the glitches made it almost impossible to tell!

I was head down just going as hard as I could for the line - didn't intend to actually pass you!

No problem, Bridgy . We virtually crossed the line together, so it doesn't matter if I or you were the third man.
Great finish, that got me into red zone .
