To all who I passed on that hill, Sorry .

I got to the bottom of the big one and the legs wern't there. So I gamed the system .

Still feel :B) to crap. I'd never be able to do that in real life. I'd be a pile at the side or possibly the middle of the road :surrender:

Edit to clear up some questionable spelling
Was that a motorbike you was riding?!? 1 second you are 3 minutes down, the next you've gone past me like I was standing still and you're 3 minutes ahead  I actually checked my internet connection as I thought I'd dropped out

Bill, some of the times aren't showing in the league results yet - I think mine needs approving because of my weight change last week?

Well it didn't appear to work for me - @theboxers flew passed me as if I was standing still, but there again I probably was.

Enjoyed the scrap with @Whorty, but couldn't hold. I realised I needed a reasonable lead before we got to the bottom of the final climb. Well done @Whorty, and all that took part.

I would have liked to tried out the voice chat, but was running late and didn't have time to sort it out.
I figured that was your plan. I was trying so hard to stay on your tail on the flatter bits. Then we got to the hill and you held me off at 10 seconds for ages, just couldn't bridge that gap. I was getting really knackered at the end and could feel you chasing me down ... man was I glad when I crossed that line! Cheers GW, great race :okay:

Bill if you want to add a few minutes to the slowest time for me, I'll take it. I think rob and @Goldwolfie were the first 2 I went past. I they have a pending time use that.
I'd prefer to just leave it as it is if that's ok. We don't know who else got a little bit of extra help, but I do know that AAAC and Bridgy didn't.

Wow - not aware of that! I nearly gave myself a heart attack trying to keep up with you as well!!
My time for the Alpe d'Huez session ended up being one of these. I should have had a 1:15 or 1:20 time but ended up a 52.37. It finally proved the concept for me and explained a few unusual stages in some of the leagues.

That's all the approving done. Lots of people losing weight these days.
Thanks Bill - you're not really going to disqualify yourself are you? It's a hard line to draw regarding the use of Bkool quirks and what's "fair" or not isn' t it? You've said here that you got a bit of help from it which is very honest - maybe just leave it and that and let the result stand - I for one certainly wouldn't mind at all

I tried to catch @RamirezAGC for part of that hill, but I was held off by a good 1.5 minutes and you were too strong for me :notworthy:

For me it's 10%. I think it may be firmware related and is yet another bkool screwup caused by their medalling.
It certainly didn't happen with my old bkool pro.
I think, for me, it is where the resistance maxes out. That is @about 5.5%. On the old firmware it would lower the speed when the slope went above max resistance point. Now I get a wheel speed reading instead.

That is unless I stop or almost stop and the resistance drops away.

I think it is a precautinary move on bkools part to not start from a high resistance point. If you notice on some of the stages we have had, where it is steep from the off, the rsistsnce comes in slowly initially.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I don't mind where I come in the races. Ultimately I'm racing myself and trying to better my cycling fitness. I don't mind what others do so long as we all have fun and it's a good social interaction.

It was my GT Grade AL X. It still hurts like blazes because I have to keep to a high cadence to make it work, but eventually it catches up and I end up grinding in a gear way too tall for me :cursing:. Hence the up down nature of my trace :banghead:.
