#carenvy!Well loaded the bikes up on the sea Sucker bike carrier thingy today to go out for a family amble. Genuinely terrifying journey every creak or noise from the roof led to frantic looks in the mirror where I expected to find all 3 bikes disappearing into the distance. Youngest son was put on bike suicide watch staring upwards to make sure there remained 3 bikes on the roof.
In the end I have to admit probably the easiest way I have ever transported 3 bikes quickest to fit and load by a huge margin.
Did put toe straps around the pedals to stop them moving as I could see that be a pedal vs bodywork disaster.
Well it definitely goes quicker up hills!#carenvy!

It doesn't matter how you think you did. At least you got out there! I admire your determination. I , on the other hand, got all ready for the next chaingang stage this morning, music set, course set, water bottle filled and......not a kick out of the bkool machine! Checked all leads , plugs etc but nothing! I was disappointed but not enough to make me venture out into the real world alone!!!Well, for me, I now know bkool lies. I have been out, in the real world, on a
, for the first time in nearly 30 years, the light it burns
.
I have trundled, that is the generous description, around a 26 mile circuit. Climbed about 1.5k ft and attempted to ride up slopes up to 14% in about 3 hrs. Anything over 7% is a no-no. I had to resort to walking twice
. I do not have the required power to push my not light lump up, some of, the hills where I live
To cap it all i missed 60% of the route with the garmin because I managed to double press the start button.
Now back home, sitting quietly thinking about a beer for this afternoon.
Is that you on your avatar now. I thought you were going to change it but that still looks like AlfI was stuck behind a Sunday driver today (in my car) doing 35 mph up a 15% thinking get a move on slowcoach, then I realized that if I was on a bike I would be more than impressed doing 35 on a flat let alone up a hill which just goes to show that velocity is relative.
Oh man. I've done more simulated miles in the same time as I was out yesterday, not all of them downhill. But I feel absolutely
today. My legs ache, but I was expecting that
. But today my shoulders and chest are complaining as well
.
I must have been gripping the bars like death yesterday. The last time I had shoulders like this was the first day out on my direct access motorcycle course
. I need to learn to relax the upper half of my body whilst riding
.
I'm not worried. It is muscular, up by the shoulders and I've had it before. I just need to keep the arms relaxed when I ride outsideBe careful with any chest pains. Hopefully they are just muscular rather than anything else? But I would get it checked out regardless.
Anybody ever had a failed Power supply on their Bkool? As Gail had said earlier, we discovered yesterday that our Bkool is completely dead and I'm seriously hoping its just the power unit and not the bkool unit itself.
Ordered a replacement from Sigmasport for £17 so hopefully that will sort it.
I have Rick, and it was just the power adaptor. Seems very likely it'll be the same with yours.Anybody ever had a failed Power supply on their Bkool?
