As my collorbone is hurting less I will be by riding outide more, mainly on Thursdays and Sundays for the rest of May, then including Saturdays from June.

There are bound to be other rides I have to do, either with my son or wife, which might not leave me much time off the bike. Plus I have a milage target for the year that has been badly affected by the injury. I will try my best to join any TTT, but I also want to climb a few hills on the turbo as my climbing ability has dropped off.

Edit: I prefer to climb alone so not to feel under more pressure than I put myself under!

I really like the handicap format. Let's face it, it's the only chance most of us get to cross the line with the monsters!

I've probably watched the last minute of the replay at least a couple of times today. Yes I lead a pretty sad life...

Just went and had a look at it myself - great finish and a testament to perfect handicap setting by Geoff! I had no idea we were that close to team not-red for so long near the end, I was so pre-occupied with just hanging on to AAAC's wheel!

On reflection the power went out when I put my HRM on yesterday. Coincidence? I'm not so sure.......
Further update to power failure last night the electrician has been and discovered a crispy mouse in the garage wiring.

Upon inspection of said rodent it appears to be wearing red Lycra, j'accuse team dark pink for sending this mouse to stop team green getting a third man across the line.

Dirty dirty tactics I am ashamed on your behalf.

I might be around a little less, outdoors rides, trips, holidays and a little more off road on my newly built ride

I wondered why agent Mickey hadn't returned home, poor soul, good mouse, now to break the news to his family, they will be devastated.

I can neither confirm nor deny our involvement in the rodent skulduggery you accuse us of. But can you confirm that Ratatouille is really dead?

i got rained off today so after unpairing all devices then repairing , blowing tyre up to max , i had another go at last nights ride - hope it counts as nothing left in tank now !! just one more to go now and we will have a qualifying time - a day late - not bad for team green ^_^

240 volts surging through the teeth usually does the job ! at the very least he may be a little erratic when posted back to red hq

Well done, you got exactly the same moving time as Bazzer (38:42)! Did you follow his ghost across the line? ;)

If only you'd been able to help each other...

So how about we try an individual weight Handicap next Tuesday?

Just sign up here, be allocated a weight, set that weight before the ride and see how you get on.

You can ride it at any time during the week, but those who's motivation is improved by the sight of others just in front (Adam and Bill, you know who you are) should enjoy the added bonus of a suddenly emaciated @theboxers flying up the hill in front...

I suggest I setup a league stage with 3 laps of the Merry Harriers as a trial run, so we keep target times below 30 minutes.

Here are my initial calculations on target weights (taken from this months Bonus sprint 2)...
