Thanks again Rick for another excellent Chaingang league. I think this one was the best yet as it had a bit of everything, or perhaps "a lot of everything" is a better way to describe it. I liked the way the long drafting sessions kept the competition close, but also the suffering in those long up and down sessions was great for the masochist in us all. Excellent mini bonus sprints and long steep session 5 was incredible (wherever did you find that?).
If you are willing to set up another anything like that I'd be most grateful. If you need any help choosing just let us know and I'm sure we can help look for or suggest some. I liked the way this one lasted a bit longer too.
Agreed @RickB I think that was the best league yet - thanks a lot. If we do another one through the summer I think it's worth leaving the stages open for longer again as many of us will miss live races due to going out in the real world!

If you want to take a break from setting up the league as you're busy elsewhere, just say and I would be happy to help set the next one?

@Soarerv8 unlucky on just missing the sub hour mark. Thought you had it at one stage then that last kick up slowed you right down :notworthy:

3ac, bill and bob, man you guys just, well Clark Kent would struggle to stay with you :headshake::thumbsup:
Just felt like a total slog think it was a combination of being on my own and Spotify running out of music after half an hour. Had to keep reminding myself not to amble which to be quite honest is my preferred pace.

Thanks lads. Happy to set another up but thanks for the offer Bridgy.

Open to suggestions as to what to put in it. Any good courses anyone has stumbled across or wishes to repeat from days gone by? Stick with the bonus stages again?

This is my touring/ everything bike. A steel frame with Sram 53/39 and 11/32 cassette. I carry 3 days worth of clothes and eat at restaurants and stay in hotels.
The steel frame is custom made in Seattle for only $1300. You can send them your measurements if you can't go in person. I bet there are similar builders in england.
There are companies in the uk that do frame building courses, where you build your own steel frame to your measurements.

46 miles at Rutland yesterday has ruined my new bike! I can still walk today, so bike is a success

Darn. I ran out of time to complete all the rides:angry: my bad.

Ta Rick. Agree with everyone's comments. Best one so far:okay: I look forward to you joining us sometime too. Thanks mate.

+1 many thanks Rick

I missed a few of the stages too as 7pm is a bit of a hit and miss time for me but I enjoyed it all the same.

Your fitness level in Cycling isActive 1
  • Your last FTP value update was on 06/04/2016 21:11. You developed an average power of 307.40 W
To get to the next level, you need to do the following:
  • Take a FTP test developing an average power over 310.83 W
  • Complete an Indoor Cycling session of over 30 minutes developing an average power over 310.83 W
I upgraded my FTP on the Alpe d'Heuz course.

My weight is the same (unfortunately) 95kgs or 210 Lbs

Thanks @gbrown
