You all know what day it is today?!:ninja: :boxing: :gun: :cycle:
With the nights drawing in and winter almost upon us I'm expecting a good turnout at 7pm.

It's another "Denia Alicante Comunidad" and at a mere 31km it's hardly going to exhaust anyone. Just in case that's not quite enough, there's a nice sprint still needing to be done (as an addition, not an alternative).

Bill, speak for yourself mate^_^31km seems to be about my limit at the moment especially on Zwift:sad:.

Does anyone else have problems with tyre pressure? I have changed 2 tubes, both conti's but both having a problem retaining air. Seems to be the valve. They drop from 120psi to less than a 100 if I dont top them up every ride. I forgot this morning and by the time i had done 20km on Zwift the tyre was actually making a squelching noise on the turbo because of lost pressure. No wonder i felt so knackered. And yes, both valves done up nice and tight after inflating and no slow puncture either. Its like having latex tubes!

Bob, if you got access to Stan`s sealant. 30mill will help seal those porous tubes. You can use a cheap child's paracetamol syringe and inject it through the valve stem once removed:okay:

I have Andy, I run tubeless on my road bike. Fingers crossed its all worked well out on the road so far. But this deflation malarkey is on the turbo bike. I could try that. I would have thought its a valve issue.

Could it be anything to do with temperature fluctuations in this weather? My turbo's in the conservatory and I find my tyre pressures have often dropped quite a bit over short periods of time (more than I usually notice) and I've wondered if pressure changes due to the big changes in temperature in there may have something to do with it?

Actually, could be Paul. In fact temperature fluctuations in the loft may be even greater. It does not help that i have a posh Birzman track pump that doesn't have a lever to lock once the hose is connected but you pull the outer rim of hose "up" supposedly locking it. Works absolutely fine on valves on tubeless wheels but hit and miss on conti valves. Masses of room here for user error as usual but it may take 10 attempts or more to get air in. Loath to get a new one given it works on the tubeless valves. First world problems....

I'm still recovering from a brutal Tuesday real-life race, but I think I will give it a try anyway.

My Monday was so brutal I came last in the handicap race on Tuesday. I have no idea if I'm fully recovered yet.
Looks like we have a lot of enthusiasm for tonight's race with the guys all shy to show their excitement so talking about tyre deflation and cat piss instead .

Very strange indeed

Perhaps an animal sacrifice to the puncture gods is required. And by happy coincidence one of our cats did a piss on our bed last night, so I'm looking for any excuse to make said sacrifice.

Just say the word Bob!

In view of bill's subsequent jibe can you send the cat round to piss on his bed instead? ^_^
