Yes, although it is very quiet at the moment, with people making the most of the end of summer weather.

As the nights draw in it should get busier, and we will switch back to time handicaps and team time trials. Last winter we had four teams of four or five and it made for some great motivation, and a bit of male bonding!

re TTT do we want the voice server again so we can listen to CXRAndy's HUGE fan and the rest of us panting and swearing? If so I'll sort out a proper voice server rather than my desktop PC.

I keep forgetting to purchase a fan, which I guess makes a big difference. Any recommendations?

You can set erg mode , I've never tried it though.

I use Erg mode during events sometimes on the steeper climbs. My gearing is too high for some of the steeper hills. I select erg mode at a power I want to ride up a hill, press P at that moment and then just spin away at a high cadence until I crest the hill. Speed is corrected, all you have to do is hold cadence, once you slow down the software thinks you want to train at slow cadence with high power and duly adjusts the resistance!

Give It go

Not pedaling up that horrible hill again.

Imagine if you hadn't weighed 42 Kg?

The Tour of Britain is finishing at the top in 10 days time. We cycled up it two years ago and then stood right by the KOM banner and watched them come through. This year they finish at the top, so there'll be no room to stand.

It's actually quite a nice climb, never too steep, so you can find a pace that doesn't kill you and enjoy the scenery.

I just did the 2. stage Chain Gang sprint and it looks like there's another Bkool glitch there. I managed to average 0.1 kph hour more than Bill, but finished 1 second later .
With that kind of math, no wonder there's so many glitches around ^_^.

Bill probably rode a cleaner line. You must have gone wide in the corners and ended up riding a longer route.
