I would like to be in the Handicap league for September, if possible. Especially with the Bkool summer cup drawing to a close

Just apply to join in Bkool and I'll accept you. I'll also need to know your FTP average watts to come up with an initial Handicap.

Thanks but the winning margin was embarrassingly large due to my old FW so I really should have ditched the session as I had already run this stage some 2 minutes faster.

However I have just seen that Pep Tatche is back and has pipped me by ten seconds so I may have to go back to the Champs Elysee stage and try and hit that high speed on the flat anomaly again and take back some minutes in the GC

Looks like he is still using a busted turbo though which is why I though he had gone off of the scene. Look at those data point flats.

He did stage 8 today as well at 08:07 (time of 34 mins) so he didn't finish before 08:41 and then did stage 9 at 08:43 and beat me by ten seconds.
The man is a god among men to do back to back stages at that speed, I am humbled.
He used my ghost in both sessions as well so he knew exactly what he had to beat and did by 10 and 23 seconds.
Not so many data flats in 8 stage though:

Well I'll be blowed.
Not only did Pep do stage 8 and 9 back to back but having done stage 9 in 42 mins having started a 08:41, so finishes at 09:23 guess what he did at 09:27, yep stage 10 and he was only 6 seconds off of the pace of the Danish power house Jakob and all that with an average HR of 128. Loads of data flats on this run though:
(am I wrong to be a bit suspect about all of this or am I just a sore looser and also a bit miffed about today's Vuelta stage)

Looks like a new bike is gonna be on its way. I need to prepare for the moose league and I can't cut it with a 36F/32R combi :bicycle::sweat:.

I need to go with a triple up front and a 34 at least on the back. Any time it goes over 3% and I have not had a run at it I just don't have the watts to turn a 36/32 at anything like the cadence I need to. I end up grinding @70 or below :surrender:. I can do higher RPM's for a few hundred meters but after that I am struggling, no to be honest I'm fubar'd :cursing:. I'm a lot better than I used to be but still need that slightly lower gear to turn a faster cadence.

So I'm looking at adding this to the collection

I think it will help with the moose leagues and also the roads around where I live, they are quite lumpy on the north downs. At least until the lard has been worn off :mrpig:.

@theboxers.

Or Press `P` to engage erg mode. Spin high cadence with what power you select

This is going to be an indoor outdoor bike. I need the gearing with some of the hills local (less than a mile) to me. I have lots that are over 10% and some others topping out at 20%. I know I have improved in power and lost some weight. But I have not done enough of both to get up these hill yet

A 26/34 should get you up the side of a house.
:stop: I have a hill about half a mile from me that is a 17% slope. I'd have problems walking up let alone riding .

As I am still a newbie in getting used to the group/ghosts thing, shall I set it up and start and then you join?
