That bloody mid stage uphill kicked my arse, again, :surrender:. I need to lose another 30 kilo to stand a chance on that stage :mrpig:. What I lose on the uphill I can't get back on the down.

@bobinski thanks for the assist but I'd blown a gasket going uphill by then. The gravity assist after the top helped but was too little too late .

Just finished the Chaingang using @theboxers as a ghost. I figured I'd need a minute on him when I got to the hill, but I didn't realise the hill was mostly 10% gradient and the old FW super-power that TB has completely destroyed me. Within the first 60 seconds of the climb I've gone from 54 seconds up, to one minute down  In all, TB climbed 5 1/2 minutes faster than me, on a 12 minute climb :B) Can't compete with the old FW

Sorry Soarerv8, I was so busy trying to shake Lars off I didn't even have the energy to wave! :hello:
I thought you were waiting for me uphill and was a bit surprised to suddenly be a few seconds ahead of you at the end.
Anyway, thanks for the company, great race :okay:.
Craaazy rpm downhill. Did 140 at one point .

well I'm happy with my time about 3minutes up on may and around 70 watts more good when I can check back and realise I've improved cos when I've finished and collapse on the floor it sure as hell doesn't feel like I've improved at all

big thanks @Whorty for the encouragement

Haha! Waiting for you? No, I was doing everything I could to get ahead of you! Great race though - thanks! Your high cadence on the downhill was probably the difference between us in the end

Really gutted to miss this. I had a late one with work getting fees issued - I need to pay for my new subscription somehow ^_^

Can I race this on my own and log a time for use in the team time trial selection. I know it won't be as fun but I'm still wanting to give it a go

Bit of a PB pattern here wonder if the latest version of BKool has some influence on this (hope so)
If so, then it'd be simulator side -- I think I'm the only one riding a kickr. So I don't have the bkool firmware issues so well documented here.

My pleasure. Once i realised i didn't have legs or lungs for bridgy and LB it seemed churlish not to join and ride with you and boxers for a while. And recover of course^_^ I just didn't expect boxers to be quite so fast downhill:angry:^_^ I gave chase as he passed me and no amount of spinning in top gear could get me anywhere near him. He was gaining on bridgy who is probably fastest downhill but at that point was going up to escape LB.
At times like that i really wish i could click on a rider and see what is happening ala Zwift.
