Replying to my own post (being as you are all off enjoying yourselves on your bikes) it has something to do with VGA / XGA. Although reasonably tech savvy monitors are not my thing.
Thought I fixed it by forcing it to full screen all this has proceeded to do is make it try to open in VGA mode every time I open it which just leaves me with a black screen.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled but is now opening this way every time and therefore completely useless.

If i remember rightly you need to right click on the screen and go to graphics properties and change the screen resolution?
How are you PC and TV connected? If its HDMI you certanly should not be selecting VGA.

No not HDMI unfortunately is via I think an XVGA cable from the PC to a VGA input on the TV. Have tried many different resolutions but now when I open Bkool it just tries to force the monitor into VGA which it dislikes.
Have stalked out of the garage in disgust now, will drag another monitor out at the weekend and sort it then (perhaps)

i had a few glitches trying to watch. Logged in ok on the laptop earlier but when I came to watch it wouldn't let me log on, it was onto on the ipad so I started watching on that, but that threw me out a couple of times. Tried the laptop again and it was ok, I quit the ride to check o something else, and when I went back to the ride I could only see goldwolfie then it crashed on the laptop. Fortunately though all of this I had the track cycling on EuroSport to watch.
I did watch TDomoulin for a while, he was pushing out some serious watts on the uphill bit, in fact I didn't see it below 1000w on the hill.

He has not had too much luck on the road this year so he has come to BKool to destroy us, but sustaining 1000 Watts Tom, come on now you must be cheating, perhaps its your asthma meds kicking in!

One thing how do I view other riders then , couldn't see anyone or was I to far behind ?
I did every so often see a white cyclist image appear top centre but that was it , also lost the screen view & could only see the course image on the bottom of the screen , not sure what happened there either ?

Well up and running, thanks for the help guys...
By the time the update had downloaded, installed and I found the link I missed the start, and watching the last half I am glad I did
Will attempt to join in on Saturday but chuff me I think I will be in the broom wagon
