I can see favourites (but only 8) under the league rides, but can't see a section for scheduled rides (non-league) at allThis left me perplexed the other day. Seemed there were no scheduled or favourite rides showing.
All this talk of the DD and lots of teeth on the cassette has got me wondering if the 12-27t I run won't be adequate for such a ride. Unfortunately for me, the biggest I can go to is 29t unless I change shifters, deraileurs etc..
Based on advice from Adam & Bill I changed my rear cassette to a 32, and I needed a longer rear hanger to do it. I was really glad I did - the Devil's Staircase and Elbow are super-steep, and the sheer length of the ride and amount of climbing meant having a nice low gear to spin in was really welcomeAll this talk of the DD and lots of teeth on the cassette has got me wondering if the 12-27t I run won't be adequate for such a ride. No, I'm not right! Programmed (or scheduled) rides do show up above the league rides - I just didn't have any scheduled so it didn't appearAm I right in saying that on the new Bsim, they have also forgotten to include access to non-league scheduled rides....? (As pointed out to me by Monte)
I won't be speaking to my bank manager when the next bike comes due. I'll just speak toI can't do this with my best bike groupset (SRAM etap).
Sometimes you can muck about with the rear mech to allow for bigger gearing. possibly by getting a longer cage.
I can't do this with my best bike groupset (SRAM etap), but I could on my other bike (shimano ultegra). I'd rather ride the nicer bike so I'm hoping with a semi compact chainset I can get away with it.
It might be worth doing a bit of research with regards your groupset.

I'm hoping to be at home on Wednesday so may kick off a ride some time around 5. Might try the latest chaingang tomorrow night as not done that yet.

Well im seriously thinking of joining some of you for the DD, but if i did i would want hydraulic brakes seen a couple of planet x bikes but trying to convince the wife is going to be a tough job.
Don't like the idea of going down a welsh hill in the rain on carbon rims bad enough on the flat.
Thanks, I will...
