Went for a 35 mile outside ride today, gosh it was cold (6C)! Gave me a chance to dig out my winter shoes, bibs, etc. and actually was very pleasant in the winter sunshine. Roads were dry, which is the important thing for me.
Got to our little cafe and found it full of around 50 cyclist who had arrived a few minutes before us. They ate all the Carrot Cake, cheeky buggers!
Hadn't used the winter gear for 3 years, as didn't cycle at all last year and the year before bkool kept me from ever going outside!

It was around about the time you offered me Chardonnay, that I had my little moment!Adam, you were doing so well, 1 mph ave up on Tommy,Bill and Breedon. I don't know if you could read my little message of encouragement, about wine?
