I think there is a local bye law about eating the last piece of Carrot Cake.
They should be bought to justice!
Adam, you were doing so well, 1 mph ave up on Tommy,Bill and Breedon. I don't know if you could read my little message of encouragement, about wine?
Just Bob now to see if he can top the list, currently ave 9.4mph with a third of course to go
Nearly killed?? I was turned away from the Pearly Gates at the last minute. I can smile now, but felt really ill at the time. Actually felt pretty good for the first 15 minutes or so, then a complete lack of stamina made itself painfully apparent. That and two glasses of white wine making an untimely reappearance scuppered my chances of posting a time in the league. But I did climb 11 fitness ratings for my efforts!Well that nearly killed me. Breedon you were just too fast, and Tommy I was really suffering staying with you and when you decided to leave me behind near the end there was nothing I could do about it but continue at the same pace. The Stig has obviously recovered from his summer off and is back on the pace.
They were all from Yeovil, they don't know any better!![]()

Thanks my plan was to catch you and tommy up and draft a little then i had this mad idea of making a early attack and hold it for as long as i could did feel sick at one point although i didn't do a add, my wife tryed to put me of by showing me her upper ladies bits but being a true goat i gave her thelook and grinded on.
Good race i enjoyed it![]()
Well over an hour I averaged 2.5 watts per kilo. Guess I need to up the former and lower the latter.Did todays Chain Gang with the the idea of just posting a decent time as I still have a bit of gunk on my chest but not as bad as last week.
I challenged Bill to act as my bench mark and hey ho Bridgy's ghost was there as well.
Concerned that I might get whooped on the downhills I aimed to get to the first main ascent ahead of my foe.
I managed that so I relaxed a bit and although Bridgy came back at me on the on the intermediate ascents he did not gain as quick as I expected so I was able to play a bit with my slope transitions.
Low and behold if I took less than 200 watts into a transition I appeared to get a slow degradation in speed until a certain amount of time elapsed and then the gradient would kick in.
In summary I believe that they have fixed the Pro Slings with a bolt on restriction and the dead stops are part of that bolt on.
The whole thing that first allowed the pro sling to happen is still there i.e. the delay in onset of gradient resistance.
I was therefore able to ride at a pace 10 seconds short of Bridgy's time at 0.5 W/kg lower (my 4.0 to Bridgy's 4.5) yet 1:18 faster than Bill but 0.1 W/kg lower.
