That all sounds good. I got a measurable improvement in bkool with just a few training sessions in Zwift once erg mode was working with the turbo. I think I should have stuck with them but got carried away with my improvement
Sounds like you have a plan and we better watch out for you when it's finished^_^
Lol doubt it as you guys just keep on getting stronger regardless!!

Good to know that you found the training sessions to be a help Bob so I'm hoping I can build up enough over the winter to get closer to the A3 cat racers.

Any recommendations of what sessions you find best?

Just saw the Bridgy has beaten BillS, AAAC..... and so on. I expected it but didn't think AAAC would be beaten with that ultra quick time. Nice one Paul, don't know if you're riding tomorrow but we'll set your ghost as the one to beat, and now I've got my new Mavic yksion tyre I'll try and come in less than 3 minutes behind you.

Thanks Bill - that was hard work but beating an AAAC time always is as you know! Not the best preparation - suffering a bit of a hangover from a rather heavy evening last night so had a thumping headache for the whole ride - no nosebleeds though Bill!

I might be there for the re-run tomorrow, but depends how my day goes so I thought I'd get a time in just in case.

359 watts says Strava
:notworthy:
A few father Ted comments spring to mind but after an afternoon of Chocolate biscuits and an evening of crisps and a bottle of wine I best keep them to myself:angel: I am trying to eat and drink myself out of feeling a bit run down:okay:

@RickB

Gawd. I will have a look but not all saved to Strava. One was ramped finishing with an 8 min at 350w I think, short bits of 800w either side of 400w. Hard. The 800 was fine but the long stretches at high w were horrible I took 2 days off afterwards. Based on a 280 ftp I think.

I'm at the Cinema again bit have gone for an earlier viewing so I might make it (i.e I asked HID for the earlier booking so I could make it, how brave am I).
I think that puts Bridgy 21 secs ahead of me so the race is on.
LB, you need to come back to the fold to heighten up the challenge as Bill is obviously getting a bit long in the tooth and is letting the sassenachs get the better of him.

18 weeks! We will be expecting you to be leading from the front Andy:okay:

I am hoping for some improvements in ftp and threshold endurance. The plan reckons 3-5% are reasonable gains over one workout plan

For the record I am sampling a nice little bit of Barossa grape in order to widen my worldly understanding of the vine.
I do not consider this in any way a pain killer and therefore worthy of a TUE but it may help my quest to oust the young wiper snapper,Bridgy, from his spot.

Edit: At £6.50 a bottle from T""c" if I gave up the weekly treat it would only take me about 80 weeks to save up for a rear carbon disc wheel.
I am not sure if I could commit to that!

Edit to Edit. Shame I have stopped smoking as I am sure stopping 20/40 a day (and at my peak 60) would buy me a back wheel far quicker.
