Bill, I'm no longer the one to chase. I have problems with massive underread on the 1-6% sections, up to 50 watt in Chaingang stage 3. This stage ended with the same avg. watt as my BePros.
I should be glad that Bkool finally got realistic, but the way it does it means that I get dropped on the climbs and therefore can't benefit from draft on the flat sections.

But in the chaingang stage3 you beat me and made more w/kg than me. IMO that makes you quite chase-able. I assume your toe is better now .

Well @Add , you'll be delighted to hear that I'm making a rapid and miraculous recovery from my near fatal man-flu. Starting to wonder if I might actually give the handicap ride a go tonight after all.....

Toe is better, thanks .
You may have a point there, but then again - you are 3 minutes ahead of me in the overall rankings.
And I'm sure you havn't had the last say in that stage ^_^.

Hey @Randyberlin, you're starting after me! If I perform similarly to the other night, I have a sneaking suspicion I might get heavily 'adjusted'.

@gbrown I will try my hardest to get to the race on time, or at the very least, 6 and a half minutes after it has started....but...and its a big but...I have to put kids to bed at 8pm, and previous experience leads me to suspect that this will not occur without incident. I have turned my mic off, hopefully, so none of you call social services when I promise them cash, alcohol or whatever else their demands might be to get into bed.

@Soarerv8 Can I suggest you clear your garage of ravenous beasts, check your powerline adapters pre-race, download any updates in advance and try out bkool indoor before a nice long warm up ride? ;)

@Add Just try and get there before the start if you can!
Sigh please add parents evening for feckless offspring number 2 to the list please.

Last couple of lines of that post sum up dating technique of a teenage me with teenaged girls several million years ago.

I'll be at work. I'm still slowly getting back to my pre knee injury fitness level. But you would be far ahead of me even If I've clawed my way back to the middle of the pack. I'm giving serious thought to exploring cheating techniques. Or better excuses.

Why don't we add four minutes to your Start Time to give you a chance to get there on time? :okay:

This makes the "you've been beat" email from you sting a little more. Not just two goat rides on the same day, but using a faulty trainer as well.

Sorry @Randyberlin - There is not a lot between us on these long climbs, I think tracking your ghost gave me that bit extra last night. My 'mechanical' only delayed me by about 90 seconds, and one Goat ride a week is enough for me - my other issue was a couple of weeks ago.

It would be good to try one of these Goat rides together, we could help each other out.

The last few weeks the Sunday mornings (5pm for you) group goat rides have been working for me. It just makes Kipster and the older dog a little peeved to wait for their big weekend ramble.

Crikey, how many pages of Handicap complaints?

It's all down to previous times on the particular course, and most of the "anomalies" are for riders who have not completed the course recently.

I did think the head-start for @bridgy over @AAAC 76C looked unfair, but Bridgy's fastest time so far is 33:59 and Aaac's is 30:42! If I drop off Bridgy's previous slower time that will close it up a small amount. The same for @TurboTommy!

@Whorty is clearly no longer tail end charlie! But he hasn't done a Handicap session for ages, so I have no times to go on. I could drop him from the list, but prefer to leave him there as a placeholder. @Whorty feel free to suggest a suitable increase in Start Time if you fancy joining in, or perhaps you could try and log a few sessions when you are not Goat'ing or Chaingang'ing? They don't have to be done at 8pm on a Tuesday.

@CXRAndy has not completed a session recently, and nor has @Add, who tends to be much faster up mountains than on a flat'ish Handicap.

I'm glad I don't run a golf club!

Mr Placeholder here

Just got back from a very very long day at work. 2 hours drive there, 2 hours back. Legs as stiff as a, well, you know what. I will join in tonight though to prove how stiff my legs are and how slow I will be

What's my start time?
