Apparently I only went 6 seconds slower and I walked! (kind of)
6 seconds slower than what?

As I went at a sub-maximal pace today I was able to pay attention to the stats a bit more.
BSim is far from on the nose still.
I was getting 'unearned' power spikes on slope transitions still and the time delay for resistance to change is still really slow but it makes up for it by being slow to come off after cresting.
Has anyone else shared the same findings.
My PC clock is still out of sync with BSim by 20 seconds so I do need to sort that.
I'm not sure about the power spikes but I do agree with the delayed resistance at both ends

Delayed resistance at both ends is what I get after a heavy night out...
Seriously though, are you using ant+ and if so how far is it from the trainer? I found that digital interference can cause issues. I now have a 3m usb extension cable so have the ant dangle next to the trainer which has really helped.

Ant+ - I guess so, it just connects automatically? I must admit I've never totally got my head around the different ways it can connect to the trainer! I just have the ant+ dongle plugged into the laptop - never bothered with an extension lead. It doesn't really bother me much that the resistance changes are a bit out of sync and I think I've just got used to it now!

I have an extension so it's next to it

Where was everyone else? Only 7 live runners today!

Is everyone Christmas shopping? :snowball:
Missed my 2 early trains back from the smoke. Ended up catching the 6.20 and it then takes 2.5 hours til I get home ... so never going to make it back I'm afraid!

At the top of the bsim there will show the connections highlighted including ant or bt. Anyway, on of the tips I saw was to get a usb extension cable to make sure the dangle was as close to the trajner as possible. It works for me anyway!

And do you get any delays etc? Mine really helps the video routes. I also switch off or remove other wifi equipment like phones and printers to reduce interference.
Switching off other wifi equipment would not go down well with the kids in my house! I think I'm lucky to have quite a strong and robust wifi signal so I rarely have any connection issues or problems with video routes (despite the kids best efforts!)

I think it is just objects close to the ant that cause an issue. I have to switch off two printers and shift out the mobiles...

Not trained in telemetry and the like, ex-mechanical technician me, but logicality I would say that being digital any interference that has any impact would either generate a false input or none at all and not result in a time delay.
I do however have my dongle on an extension, not that my dongle needs one, but it still sits about a meter away from the trainer.
I also have a mini BT key board mounted on my bars and I use a BT headset for music played from the PC.
I certainly don't use printers while I'm on the turbo but those using a phone as a WIFI hot-spot may suffer.
