You can keep your role models, Wiggins Etc, I'll stick with mine- I just need to put on 12 more pounds and develop 450 more watts to emulate him.
Jacob Skovsgaard !!
I've never met Jacob and I probably don't want to!
100 kg at a sustained 400 W plus would probably knock me into next year and my bike too.
That all said he is probably a great Dane, who are in deed generally gentle giants all be it a bit slobbery, and is no doubt as nicer chap as our own resident Dane, LB.
Being British though we are all probably harder than anyone else in the world.
This is however a myth which I found out one night in a night club in southern Germany frequented by the local American Marines unit.
One of the largest of which did not appreciate my drunken English wit.
I may have mentioned that it was rumoured that the American Forces would get a medal simply flying over Northern Island.
Luckily I landed on a friend and not the floor and the offended individual just turned around and carried on with evening as if he had just swatted a fly.
I decided that the best course of action was avoidance rather than apology.
