I hope to be there tonight but a long day in Paris yesterday and 2 nights with little sleep will leave me much slower. In fact, Bill might beat me

Cant believe he accepted that ride into the league! Most of the second half, the readings are flat-lining at silly Watts, speed and cadence.
Sometimes winning is more important to some that taking part. Thankfully I never win in a race, so I have to be content with the taking partThat's what strange to me. There's blatantly something up with his results, you'd think he might have more pride...
hi Guys, have been 'following' this group for a few months now but felt compelled to make my first post and offer Congratulations to Daddy Pig on his recent achievement, well done!, also to all the other members for their efforts both in the BKool Winter Cup and the M.G. and C.G. rides. I would kindly ask that you consider this post also as a request to join your esteemed company, Mountain Goats and Chain Gang. I do however have a few confessions that might influence your decision, 1. In my day i might have been considered a Yuppy. 2. I have no injuries to speak of other than a hernia, had 2 knee ops, broken arm etc. so you can be sure i won't seek an unfair unadvantage, (unless it's offered) 3. Wrong side of 60 but right side of 70. Best wishes
@gbrown - I don't know if anyone's already pointed this out but I noticed last night that Bkool do appear to have finally fixed the password glitch AND they have put the elapsed time on the screen where you enter the password.
I haven't yet been able to check whether you can still see the elapsed time after you've input the password but before you click "no" to join as was previously the case though. Good news for the handicap rides!
In terms of joining times, how long should we give it from hitting the 'no' to do you want to join last rider before we start to pedal? Is this the 15 seconds or is it less?Yep looks like it is fixed, but the first time I tested it, the elapsed time was nonsense!
However, a few more tests and it has been correct each time.
It will be interesting how you all get on tonight. If it works, it should mean fewer late starters!

Thanks GeoffIt would be great have you on board, I've joined you up.
It's a little difficult with the Handicap Chase, as we usually work out a Handicap from previous times.
Happy for you to start at 0:00 and see how you get along!
I see you're in Taunton, so am I!
EDIT: Take a look at the starting procedure here Chain Gang Handicap Race
If you are starting at 0:00 you should be OK to join during the warmup and just sit on the line. Make sure you stop pedaling before the count down reaches 0:00! Enjoy!
Geoff
No last minute alterations to start times Geoff?
