Saw quite a few hardened souls out in the lycra today, sitting in my car and observing the outside temperature was around +1.5C. Respect to anyone out at that temperature...

I setup another months Handicap League, still hoping we can get enough times in to setup a few Team Time Trials. As soon as we have near to 20 riders we can switch formats. Seem to have enough of you fast boys for the Blue Team, going to have to split into two and put half in the Red Team, but very short for the Green and White Teams, need a few more hares for the hounds to chase...

Who's up for tomorrow 8pm?

Geoff
Won't be able to join tomorrow - will be late in from work

I should be O.K for tomorrow.
I'll make a good tortoise for the hounds to chase.:surrender:

Unfortunately I can't make Tuesday evenings, which is a shame as I used to enjoy the handicap sessions.

The next Handicap Chase is Fuente Librilla - Alcantarilla

Next run is 8pm (plus Start Time) this Tuesday 3rd January 2017.

Start Times (Handicaps) are as follows... (when underway time equals or exceeds the given Start Time).

If anyone else wants to take part, can they let us know a competitive time for the stage, or failing that their fitness level and who they usually finish close to.

Geoff,
I hope to make this tonight. I shall be on the NEO so will be interested to see what if any impact it has.

Happy New Year to you all and I hope you all had a good Christmas etc!

I've been a bit distracted with it all and the turbo's been put away since before Christmas but I plan to dust it off again tonight and start working off some off the excess food and drink I've been enjoying for the past 10 days! I have had a couple of real outdoor rides on the road and mountain bike which were great, but I have a feeling that a full-on effort Bkool race is going to hurt a bit after my break - I'm sure I won't be alone in that though!

I'll try to be there tonight - thanks for organising again Geoff....

Don't worry about that Bob. In picking the start times it looks like Geoff has already taken it into account that you'll be on the NEO.

Well done all who took part in the December Mountain Goat league.
As mentioned before I'll not be carrying on with it for a while, at least until the Winter Cup league is over. If anyone else want's to fire it up then just let me know.

Especially well done to our latest hill climbing stars: Breedon in 1st place, Runar in 2nd and The Stig in 3rd. :bravo:

Anyone fancy winter cup stage 4 as our Thursday Chaingang ride this week? This will help us to date in that league and also give me some time to get the new Chaingang league up and running.

Gets my vote

I'm going to have go at the second stage in about 30 mins. If anyone fancies joining me I can hold off a bit longer.
