Great ride last night Kipster, looks like you're in good form! Also glad your ride got approved so quickly as I need to drop my weight slightly too.

It's a bit alarming Bridgy's ride slipped through the admin net considering the exaggerated weight difference. Obviously unintentional on Bridgy's part but the admins wouldn't know that. It shows how others who are more unscrupulous have been getting away with things that look far more intentional...
I think it was a course that suited me, not much uphill, not much downhill. Being on a classic bkool helped as no dead stops so was able to carry speed into those transitions.

I'm going to ride stage 3 again, but this time on the classic, then download the .fit files for the snap and the bkool and email then to bkool and wahoo as the two devices are just so different on the bkool simulator.

Good rides last night guys. The dead stop at the base of that climb is a real pain in the a**. The only way I avoided it on only the last lap was to have a ridiculously high cadence

Has anyone used the training plans you can set up in Bkool? I'm looking at it as a potential instead of signing up to Trainerroad for Nove Colli in May

There is one option to set one up for "Do the QH in less than 7, 8, 9 or 10 hours"
Does anyone have an idea what the QH is?

Oh no, you're right about my ride - I saw it was marked as "invalid" due to the weight last night (which is how I realised what I'd done) so I was hoping the admins would see sense and not accept the ride. I was going to email as well this morning to try and make sure but haven't got round to it yet. That is silly - they have built in this sensible feature to require the ride to be authorised by admin if the rider weight has changed, but then they just approve it anyway

I know it's my fault really, but that is annoying as if they can't/won't take the ride off the league now I won't really be able to complete the league with a realistic overall time now . I will email them and ask if they can take it down but I don't hold out too much hope....

I know what you mean it's mostly annoying from a personal point of view. It's not really your fault at all though mate. Sh!t happens. It's for them to provide the checks and balances in the system to allow for human error and this is where the failure is.

One way to address it would be for you to re-do the stage, take a note of your new time, and then sit on the finish line for that amount of time on the next stage. But it's obv up to you really. Doing that stage again might not be very high on your 'things to look forward to' list xx(...

Agreed! ;)
I will try and have another go with the same ghosts and see what the time difference is. Assuming I can't go faster (!) I can then slow down just before the line on another stage and "lose" the time difference I gained because of the weight cock-up

I Think QH is a reference to a 200km Gran Frondo - Quebrantahuesos

Thanks @kipster. Definitely sounds the one to try. It's perfect as Novi Colli is also 200km long and has 3840m change in elevation (QH has 3500)

I think league stages will suffer due to the training. I want to keep doing the handicap at least though

I wish you luck with that kipster, You know I havent been griping about my Kickr being disadvantaged

Mention my name to bkool if you want to have a ghostly silence ^_^

I was looking at your rides profile and you got 100 metres at nearly 30mph into the climbs before speed was shed off. I had forgotten your borrowed bkool was a classic.

That's a cracking idea Kipster. I may do the same if I can bring myself to ride the course again- actually, it's not as bad as some we have done.
What I want is for bsim to allow me to ride the NEO as a power meter/source rather than ant+ fec. That may make a difference to how it performs. Bsim recognises and allows me to choose the Neo as a power meter but then when I go to do a ride tells me I don't have a turbo connected.

Now that I don't have a bkool turbo I find them a bit annoying. I don't mind zwift, but prefer bkool (with its faults). The way the snap performs on bkool is so poor it's unusable and I find myself looking a www.roadgrandtours.com

I've registered for an invitation but it hasn't been forthcoming yet.
