OK, that does make me feel a bit better about that ride! As for being impressive, I think we can safely say AAAC's ride on that stage was the really impressive one - 3 minutes quicker than me - I was hoping to try and stay with his ghost, but no chance!

I did have real BKool gift day that day.
I was able to maintain unusually high watts .

Even beat Jacob so I must have been cheating!

If I'm honest, and I am most of the time, I'm hoping the weather will be cak and I can spend the weekend chillin. I haven't committed to the ride, opting to sign up on the day, so I'll be watching the weather closely. If it looks grim, the bike stays at hame... May even pop over to Mull.. ⛴

Sorry - back from work late. May do a gentle ride Thursday but not doing too much this week due to IoW Saturday. Apparently I have to race around the island at break neck speed
