The guy who rode in our local race series a few years ago, Julius Johansen, would almost certainly have made the Junior podium if it hadn't been for a puncture. He ended up 6th, 27 seconds behind Pidcock.

He took the gold in the juniors road race instead.

It's not a proper road race because it's a circuit which makes it a circuit race so none of the medals really count this year.

We do a lot of circuit racing in the UK because we don't have any stretches of road in a good enough condition to ride road bikes on.
